-Uh Alex this conversation seems really interesting but I honestly don't feel like going through this right now, so...
                          
-But Gene! There's even this other guy that she talked to yesterday! -Alex said mad. -And that's why we're having this conversation in the first place!
                          
-Wow, Alex! -Gene said grabbing the boy by his shoulders. -Would you calm down for a second? Why are you so pissed off? I don't understand.
                          
Alex sighed. Even he didn't know why. It did seem like jealousy, but it it was more than that. It probably didn't look like, but Alex had grown up and was a little more mature. He wouldn't let that affect him. He knew relationships were hard... yeah, maybe that was it... they just had to work on it... He smiled. Why? Because Ruby's adorable face popped out in his mind.
                          
Gene, who still hadn't taken out his hands off of Alex's shoulders, was looking at Alex with a "what a hell" face. He knew Alex was in love but damn! He looked like a young teen whose crush just asked for a pen...
                          
Gene grabbed a big backpack and put his jacked on. Then he waved at Alex as he explained he was going out. Alex didn't pay much attention to the boy. Now, he only wanted to see her...

-The cake was so good, Ruby! But I don't understand why did you buy it?
                          
Ruby had a fake nervous smile on her face. But she was confused. Apparently, Twinkle still hadn't noticed that the cake disappeared... in the girl's belly...
                          
-Ah, you know... I felt like it... But anyway, where did you went yesterday?
                          
Now it was Twinkle's time to make a fake nervous smile. She was trying to form words in her mind. She was never good at lying. She couldn't.
                          
-Uh... just some place... So how about you? -she said with a cocky smile. -How was your date...?
                          
-It was fine... fun... and you know...
                          
-Anyway, gotta go. -Twinkle said rushing out of the room leaving a confused Ruby behind.

Alex was having breakfast but as Ruby entered the kitchen, his eyes started following her.
                          
-Morning, Alex... -she said yawning as her hand ran through his chin making him smile dreamily.
                          
She grabbed her bowl of cereals and sat next to Alex. She seemed so unbodored... as if nothing happened. That made Alex a little mad. But he tried acting cool...
                          
-Hey, Rubs?
                          
-Hum...? -she said looking at him.
                          
-Hum... -he started unsure. -... who was that guy from yesterday?
                          
She stared at him smiling.
                          
-He was just a childhood friend, that's all. Don't worry. -she giggled scratching his hair playfully.
                          
Alex tried to "fix" his hair. He was still pissed off. But he decided to let go of that subject for now.
                          
-So let's follow Gene and Twinkle for where the hell they went?
