The tension in the classroom was filled with a relieved aura. After practicing hard for the written exams and completing their practical exams, the U.A students could finally let their shoulders down and enjoy the summer days.
                          
It was Friday, right before the school day was finished—when Aizawa informed the students of a camping trip the upcoming week. And no, this wasn't any test or valuation. It was supposed to be fun; kind of like a bonding experiment. Indeed it did become just exactly that.
                          
Todoroki was sitting at his usual spot in the back. The heat was so intense that he had to take off his uniform blazer, and he was supposed to endure the heat! You can imagine how the rest of his classmates were surviving.

                          
Earlier that same day, Kaminari was so sizzled with the heat that he took of his shirt in mid class, surprising everyone. He yelled, "IVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!! TODOROKI-KUN GET YOUR ICY QUIRK ON GEAR!" The blond had demanded quite desperately.
                          
"Put on your damn clothes Pikachuu! You're embarrassing yourself" Bakugou rose from his seat and threw Kaminari's shirt and uniform jacket back to him as it had landed directly on his face previously.
                          
Many of the girls were fuming red, although that could've been from the heat as well.
                          
Kaminari kept refusing and they all ended up throwing his clothes around, causing a big ruckus. You may wonder what Aizawa was doing? Well, he just watched in boredom, sitting at his desk; lacking energy from the hot weather.
                          
"Aizawa-Sensei, why aren't you stopping these boisterous actions!?" Iida said quite firmly, standing up from his desk, despite being at risk of getting in the middle of the brawl. While he did so, Ashido thought it was a good idea to take off her white shirt, leaving her in a purple bra.
                          
"A-Ashido-San w-w-what a-are you doing?!" Midoriya yelped from his spot, cheeks turning rosy.
                          
"It's too hot! I can't breath" She dramatically fell over her chair, head falling back as she closed her eyes.
                          
"I've dealt with this before as a teacher. There was this once were all students in my class took off their upper clothes in the middle of the written exams" Aizawa said quite blandly like it was normal to him.
                          
This caused many of the students to groan, the heat had really taken a toll on everyone's bodies. At least they can look forward to camp in the forest, as it may be a little cooler there.
                          
Todoroki sighed as he activated his right side, and let out a cold biting breeze. Which made the class hum in great delight.
                          
"Thaaaank you Todo!" Ashido chirped.
                          
"Ah your quirk is amazing Todoroki-Kun!" Midoriya boy had turned around in his chair to give said boy an admiring grin.

There it was again, that drowsy feeling inside his chest. It made him want to throw up. All he knew, that it always happened when Midoriya got close to him or when he mentioned his name. It was like a trigger.
Although, his aloof nature hid these emotions so well. He was used to keeping everything inside anyway, so it wasn't that much of a bother. He figured it had to do with the heat and that Midoriya knew his secret—that it was unusual for Todoroki to be so exposed.

                          
Towards the end of the day, when the students were finally ready to leave—Aizawa reminded them of the upcoming trip and the majority yelped in joy and excitement.
                          
Midoriya grabbed his backpack to trail after Iida and Uraraka, smiling widely at his friends. Todoroki frowned ever so slightly and seized his bag. Ever since the sports festival, he had gotten used to sitting with the trio at lunch. But sometimes, he felt like a burden.
                          
Yaoyorozu sent him a concerned look, also picking up her bag. "Are you okay, Todoroki-San?" She asked him, "You seem a little down"
                          
He kept walking, not turning around to glance at her "I'm fine, just the heat" After that, he picked up his pace and exited the classroom, leaving Yaoyorozy worried—until Jiro and Hagakure practically stumbled next to her, laughing and joking. 

                          
Todoroki was surprised to see the green haired boy still talking with his gang outside the school. And as soon as Midoriya noticed him walking out the door, he waved him over.
                          
"Todoroki-Kun, there you are. We were waiting for you" He gleamed a perfect smile. Todoroki gulped down hard before ambling over to them.
                          
"Sorry...just took some time to get out" He replied, keeping his gaze away from Midoriya's.
                          
"Are you guys excited for the camping trip? It will be so much fun!!!" Uraraka bursted out with a dazzling grin. At least a she was in a good mood. 
                          
"Yes it will be very exciting. We'll have to learn to take care of our selves" Iida pointed out, readjusting his glasses.
                          
"Yeah, I heard we'll be given partners! I wonder who I'll end up with" Midoriya questioned and gave Todoroki a mindful glance which he ignored and looked away. As usual. 
                          
"As long as I don't end up with Mineta!!" Uraraka feared, clenching Iida's arm for comfort. The boy tried to pry her off, but she wouldn't be stop complaining about the big pervert in their class.

                          
"Alright, I'll see you guys on Monday! Bye" Midoriya grinned before running off. He usually walked to the station with his friends, but left so urgently now. 
                          
"Huh?...why did Deku-Kun leave so quick?" The brunette finally let go of Iida's arm to stare at Midoriya's retreating figure.
                          
This also caused confusion within Todoroki. However, maybe Midoriya just needed to get home early that day? Yeah. 
                          
"Probably wanting to get home early, I'll see you on Monday. Remember to pack the necessary and extra clothes in case it rains!" The tall male saluted before also running off.
                          
Todoroki ended walking down the path with Uraraka who held him great company along the way. She was always so happy and bubbly, he can see why Midoriya likes to be around her.
                          
He wonders, if Midoriya even likes to be around him? Maybe just out of pity. 
Not everything is made out of strawberries and kisses.
