Izzy's POV:

"Izzy!" Sam screamed as soon as I walked into our apartment. "Where were you last night? Why didn't you let me know? What happened? Oh, wait! Did you spend the night with Logan?" She inquired, changing her alarmed tone into a seductive one. I let out a big sigh and threw my purse on the table her feet were placed at, letting myself plop down beside her on the couch.

"I'm going to Sheffield" I blurted out.

"What?!" Sam screeched.

"So... last night didn't go exactly as planned" I slurred.

"Oh, my God, Izzy, what happened at that party?" Sam said with a reproachful tone.

"Well, let's start with the situation that denoted all of this" I proposed. "So Alex scared Logan away"

"What?! Are you fucking kidding me?! Seriously, I hate that dude!" Sam snapped.

"Sam..."

"Izzy, you can't let him do that to you! You can go out with anyone you want, he cannot have control over your life!"

"Sam, it wasn't like that"

"I'm sick of your rock star kid!"

"Are you going to let me explain?"

"So what?! Are you going to tell me you're traveling with Alex to Sheffield now?!" She ironically commented, but when she saw my guilty face, she let her jaw drop to the floor in shock. "I cannot fucking believe you, Isabella. Explain yourself, now!" She urged me.

"Alright, alright!" I complained. "Listen, I know it's probably the worst idea of this decade, but... Alex got really drunk last night, okay? I don't know when he crossed ways with Logan at the party and he started telling him about everything that had happened between us. Of course, Logan was fucking terrified after it and he left. So there I was, with no fucking date and doing absolutely nothing in a party I didn't belong in. I decided to look for Alex and yell at him for what was left of the night for having ruined my date, but then I couldn't find him anywhere, so I just left the place. Turns out I found him completely hammered, lying in the middle of the streets, and I mean... I had to help him, right? I couldn't just leave him there, Sam"

"I suppose" Sam shrugged.

"Right, so I took him to his places and made sure to get him into bed safely. Then, the next thing I knew was that we were having breakfast the next morning and he was trying to convince me to go back to Sheffield with him"

"For what? So you could go back to the place that witnessed how your incredibly passionate love grew bigger by the day?" Sam exclaimed sarcastically, but she soon calmed down when she noticed my gloomy face. "I'm sick of watching you cry over him all the time, Iz. Why do you let him get to you like this?"

"I don't know" I pouted. "But I really, really need to do this, Sam. It will only be him and me in the place where everything started... I don't know, I just really need to be there"

"Oh, God" She gasped.

"What?"

"You're loving this idea!" Sam exclaimed. "It's all over your face! You're excited, you can't wait for it, you actually think this is amazing!"

"Well, it's not like that" I defended myself.

"Listen, I, you're old enough to know what's good for you and what's not, but I still wanted you to think about this twice"
