She walked slowly down the hall. Any other day no one would pay attention to her, few people may have greeted casually, but this time... This time almost everyone had an eye on her.

She entered the white room, which the boy hated with all his heart. He was sitting, slightly leaning forward, avoiding eye contact. The woman sat down on the other chair and as he looked at her discreetly his brows furrowed.

-What the heck happened to your eye?!

The shock painted on his face in the blink of, oh, how ironically, the eye turned into a grimace. He blurted it. This question came out of its own, apparently ruining his entire plan to avoid contact with any crazy psychologist in this fucking jail. Saying he was mad at himself would be a great understatment.

-Oh, so after all you've got a tongue in this mouth of yours? - She asked with a mean smile, the black eye seemed to take on an even stronger shade of rotten purple.

He groaned, gritting his teeth. Lightning of anger sprang through his green orbs, and if the eyes could kill, the woman would have fallen dead. Probably during their first session.

She thought he would say something more or at the very least curse under his breath; Unfortunately, no. The blond-haired boy firstly pinned woman with his sight, but after a moment, he looked down at his knees, which had started to become his new habit, and remained silent as though he was enchanted. The psychologist closed her eyes with regret. She clicked her pen several times pensively. Finally, she mumbled but more to herself.

-One of the prisoners ... They did it.

The boy looked at her under his long bangs. Maybe she was telling herself that, but she saw something in his eyes, something like... A blink of astonishment. She decided to play like she didn't care, so she just shrugged gently, then leaned over the notes, clicked the pen again and let out a soft sigh. She tried to stop the tears that would betray her. Pretending to scratch her cheek, she wiped a non-existent tear.

The boy lowered his eyes. His expression softened, the wrinkles on his forehead disappeared, and his lips were not as tightly clenched as before. The woman did not notice it, being too occupied with the papers in her hands.

She started tapping the table with her index finger.

-I just wonder... - at last she looked at him, her eyes were a little wider than usual - How the fuck you got there...?

Her heart pumped harder. He smiled.

-Dunno know - he shrugged his arms. - Your stupid fellows brought me over here.

She chimed in.

-Ash... I know, that you don't trust me. I understand that completely. - "I have seen your report...", she added in her thoughts. - But if you want to get out of here, you must cooperate with me, okay? Our time for today is out, but we are going to see each other tomorrow. And I will do my best to help you. I promise.

I am so sorry for you.

Silence.

-You have no idea... - he laughed sadly. -None of you... You are just a band of creeps.

-Time is out, miss Freud. We have to take him to his cage. - Security guard interrupted them. - Come on, blonde!

The boy glanced at him, as if he was ready to kill the policeman.

-Think about it, okay? - the woman asked him quietly. He looked at her listlessly.

They stared at each other for a second as though they tried to tell each other something confidential. Something that should not be heard by third parties. The intimacy shared between them, hidden in this mere second made her warm inside. The moment took a second, maybe less, before two guardians took Ash to his cell.
