The hallways of the studio were rather bright with light. There were cobwebs on some boxes and objects that were in the hallways. It was just the six for now: Aiden, Lukas, Kate, Bendy, Boris, and Alice. The fact that they were alone was both reassuring and unsettling. No one had any items to arm themselves with so it was fine with no enemies, but it was also ominous because they were alone.
Coming around one corner, they saw a dark hallway ahead of them. Luckily, Aiden spotted a flashlight on a nearby desk. He picked it up, and to everyone's relief, the flashlight was still working.
"I'll lead the way, but stay close," said Aiden.
"Maybe we should hold hands. You know, so we don't accidentally get lost," said Kate.
"Not a bad idea," said Alice.
With Aiden leading the way since he had the flashlight, everyone held hands and followed him. It was very dark in the hallway, but with the flashlight, they could at least see ahead. Noises were all around them, for some machines were moving. Ink was even dripping from the ceiling in some places.
The group moved slowly, for they didn't know if an ink monster was going to get the jump on them in the dark. Things seemed relatively calm, and nothing jumped out from an ink puddle.
However, at one point, they heard something above their heads. It sounded like something was running, but not on the floor above them. It sounded like it was in the air vents. The group froze when they heard the noises.
"What was that?" Lukas whispered.
"Whatever it was, it's gone," whispered Bendy.
The group didn't want to wait around to see what was just running above their heads. They continued to move forward. The walk didn't last much longer. They spotted a light. But when they reached the room, the doors were shut. Before they could turn around, they heard something move behind them. They turned around to see that a door closed behind them.
They were locked in this room.
"Gotta be another way out," said Kate.
Bendy spotted an air vent. He let go of Kate's hand and walked up to the air vent. He grabbed the vent and pulled it off.
"Hey Aiden, can I borrow that flashlight?" he said.
Aiden handed him the flashlight. The demon took it and started to crawl in the vents.
"Wait Bendy! Don't go alone! I'm coming to!" said Boris.
"Don't take too long!" Bendy's voice called from inside the vent.
Boris let out a sigh and he started to follow Bendy through the vents. Lukas, Aiden, Kate, and Alice watched as the guys left them. They could hear the sounds of the two crawling through the vents, but it soon became faint, and they could no longer hear them.
A few minutes later, the four heard the sound of the something turned on and moving. The doors in front of them, that continued forward, were opening.
The four saw a hallway that was leading to what appeared to be a new room and new area of the studio.
Alice started to walk ahead of the humans. Lukas tapped her on the shoulder, making her turn around.
"What about Bendy and Boris?" he asked her.
"They'll find a way back to us. The vents should lead us to a point where we'll regroup," she said.
"How do you know?" asked Aiden.
"Out of our twenty-five years here, we've been mapping the vents. They never led to a place to the entrance, but we often used the vents to evade monsters and capture," said Alice.
