It was Sunday night already and I couldn't believe it. Jade and I had already purchased the things we knew we needed for our classes so we were prepared. We wanted to get an early night, but we just couldn't seem to find any sleep what so ever so we decided to talk. We talked about how we already missed home, but we were glad to be here, she had admitted to missing Sam and I understood that. Sam and her had been together for a few years so it was normal for her to miss him even though he wasn't what she needed.
"Perrie?"
"Yea?" I asked looking over at here, even though I couldn't see a thing in the darkness of our room.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"For everything. I mean you've been there for me through every single thing. When my turtle died, my parents divorced, when Sam and I broke up, right now. I mean we've been through so much together it's crazy."
"Yea I know what you mean and thank you for everything too. You've done so much for me the past years and I'm glad to have you in my life."
"Aw Perrie! If I wasn't as tired as I am right now I would tackle you in a hug."
"I know you would. Maybe tomorrow morning?"
"You got it." she said with giggle.
"Jade?" I whispered a few minutes after staring up at the ceiling. I had gotten no reply so she had fallen asleep. Soon after I had fallen asleep myself.
The next morning I woke up to music playing from Jade's from. I slowly sat up groaning.
"Morning sleepy head." she said smiling.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's only six." she replied.
"How come you're up so early?"
"I've got class at eight. What time is your class?"
"Ten." I said laying back down.
"Oh sorry to wake you then."
"No it's fine. It'll give me a lot more time to get ready and get something to eat." I said as I got out of bed and grabbed a towel and some clothes. I walked out of the room and to the showers, lucky for me Jade had woken me up so there were only about three other girls and no line. I quickly stripped hoping not to be seen and stepped in. I let the warm water hit me and it felt good.
After my shower I went back into my room and Jade was still there she had gone from applying makeup to sitting on her using her laptop in the half hour I had been gone. Right now it was twenty minutes to seven.
"What time are you heading to class?" I asked which caused her to look up from the screen.
"Seven-thirty. By the way you look cute." she complimented.
"Thanks so do you." I said. Jade had worn a baby blue top with black skinny jeans and her favorite pair of sneakers.
"Want to go get breakfast?" she asked.
"Sure." I said as I put my hair up in a messy bun since I was still to tired to care much about my appearance. I grabbed some cash as Jade and I walked out of our room together. We walked to the little cafe that was located on campus, since it was the closest and because Jade had class soon. When we walked inside there wasn't even a line which was good because I hated waiting. Jade and I walked up the counter and ordered. Jade got a doughnut with a small coffee and I had gotten orange juice and a bagel. I paid for both of our orders as Jade walked over to a table.
"Here you go." the boy behind the counter said with a smile. I had noticed a small piece of paper he'd also given me. I turned it over and saw his number along with his name.
