The wraith looked around with excitement. "She looks like she's settling in well," Fishlegs observed, "by the way, what's her name?"

"Oh, actually," Iris answered, "she doesn't have one; none of the wraiths do."

"Well, you might want to give her one if you're going to train with us," Hiccup said suggestively.

"Woah, wait a second," Iris raised her eyebrows, "we're grateful for your hospitality, but there are still customs--"

She was interrupted by her dragon's short squawk. She gave Iris a deadpan frown. "What, you want to do this?" Iris questioned. The dragon gurgled into the air, and Iris sighed, "alright..a name..."

"Oh, how about Sandy," Ruffnut suggested. The wraith, however, shook her head in distaste.

Fishlegs then put in, "uh, Sandstorm?"

Again, another rejection from the dragon.

"You're Royal Wraithiness?" Tuffnut tried, bowing dramatically as he spoke.

The dragon lifted her chin and smiled a bit, but Iris gave her a stern look, "I am not going to call you that."

The dragon's head fell in disappointment. Then Astrid spoke out, "what about, Phantom?" Another no.

Tuff then had an idea, "Arrowtail?"

The wraith gave a single nod, then turned to Iris, who repeated, "Arrowtail?" The dragon frowned and a clicking noise escaped her throat. "Arrow..?" Finally, the dragon smiled.

"Arrow," Hiccup repeated with a grin, "it's fitting."

Arrow waddled over to Toothless and the other dragons, sniffing all the way. All of a sudden, she turned her head around toward the entrance. Just as she did, two large tall men made their way inside.

"Son, it's good to see you all home in one piece," one greeted Hiccup, giving him an extremely tight hug. Iris could assume from Tuffnut's stories thay this was Stoick, Hiccup's father and chief of Berk.

Stoick's eyes landed on Arrow and he gasped, "Odin's beard, you found another night fury!"

"Ah, not quite," Hiccup corrected as Arrow hopped over to stiff and investigate the two new men, "she's a sand wraith, a cousin species of the night fury." He then gestured to Iris and introduced, "and this is Iris; she and Arrow grew up together."

The second man then spoke, "would you look at that, such creative armor!"

Iris, however, could only stare in horror at the hook that replaced his hand. The man noticed this and chuckled, "dragon got my hand a while back...name's Gobber, it's nice to meet you, we don't get many visiters around here."

"Hiccup, where exactly have you been?" Stoick asked his son, still giving Iris a sideways glance.

Hiccup smiled and began to walk out of the are an with his father, Gobber following closely, "let me tell you all about it.."

Their voices faded away, leaving only Iris and the remaining riders. "So, what do you think of Chief?" Tuff asked Iris with a grin.

Iris smiled as well, showing that she was alright, "not as scarey as your stories made him out to be."

"Hah!" Snotlout shouted, "wait till you see him angry."

"Hey, don't try to scare her," Tuffnut said back with an angry frown.

Snotlout rolled his eyes, "oh come on, I'm just having fun."

"Well, go have fun over there," Tuff retorted pointing toward Hookfang's stable, "in the corner, where it's dark, and cold, for a long time."

Raising one eyebrow, Snotlout shook his head and slowly walked out of the arena. Astrid, too, left to go greet her parents.

"Hey Iris," Ruffnut began with an awkward look, "not that I don't think wearing dragon skin is super cool..but you might wanna find some different clothes."

Iris looked down at her full bodysuit of tan and brown scales, then back up to the twin. "Yeah, I guess that would blend in better," she agreed with an embarrassed laugh.

Together, the three walked back to the Thorston house. Tuffnut was pushed violently out the door by his sister when it was time to get Iris dressed. He sat outside on the front step, head resting in his hands, staring at the ground.

"No, your arm goes in here," he heard Ruffnut's voice through the door. It entertained him to catch the occasional frustrated words of his sister. "They're supposed to be uneven," and, "yes I'm sure it goes on your leg."

Finally, he heard the door open and hopped up to see Iris. To his surprise, she looked just like one of the vikings. Not only that, but the dark colors looked gorgeous against her pale skin.

Iris was clearly unsure about the outfit, but Tuff's speechless face made her feel better. She smiled a bit more confidently.

"I think she hates it," Ruff spoke with a shrug, "but hey, I tried."

Tuff finally found his words, "oh my Thor, it's perfect." The sun reflected the admiration in his eyes, giving his sister an idea.

Smirking devioisly, Ruffnut pulled Iris by the hand down the steps to her brother. "Hey, Tuffnut," she began, "why don't you give Iris a little tour around the island on Barf and Belch? Since you just love to spend time with our new friend."
