Waking up to find Deshawn not next to me was the wrost feeling. He didn't even tell me where he was going. I got up and took a shower. I grabbed the shirt that smelled just like him. I brushed my teeth and straightened up the room
. "Baby, I'm back!" he yelled. I got up and stretched. "You better have a good motherfucking reason why you weren't next to me this morning!" I yelled as I walked to the front.
"Chill," he said " I bought you some food." I gave him a kiss on his lips. He smiled. "Food got you in a happy mood I see." he said smacking me on the ass. I laughed. "Stop playing." I said. "Is that my shirt?" he asked smiling. I nodded. "You looking good in it." he said biting on his lip. "Eat, boy!" I shouted.
"You have any thoughts on which school you wanted to go to? " I asked. I was hoping he'll say University of St. Louis. "University of California." he said. "And that's your final decision? " I asked. "What about you? " he asked squirting jelly on his sausage biscuit. "Ummm, well.. " Suddenly Deshawn's phone rung. "It's my mom. You coming?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm coming." I said.
We drove to Starbucks and spotted Mama Joyce sitting alone enjoying her coffee. "Heyy Mama Joyce." I said. "Heyy, baby girl." she said smiling. "What's going on?" Shawn asked. "Ooh, nothing really. I just wanted you guy to come over because seeing you two together makes my days." she said. Me and Deshawn smiled. "Awww." I said.
"What do you guys have planned for college?" she asked. "We were talking about it earlier, but she never gave me her answer." he said looking down at me.
I pulled him to the side. "I've decided on University of St.Louis." I said. I seen hurt in his eyes. "Do you know how far that school is from mines?" he asked. "1840 miles." I answered looking down.
"Exactly!" he shouted. "Bae, I don't want you to be-" I started. "MAD! "he shouted. "Too late for that." he said.
Mama Joyce walked over to us. "Is there something wrong?" she asked. "No, Mama Joyce." I responded whipping my tears. She pulled me into a hug. "I'm out of here." Deshawn said. I broke down into tears. I jacked away from her hug. "And where are you going?" I asked. "You leaving me,so what does it matter?" he asked. "Are you really going to use this against me?" I asked. "You never wanted me to leave, but now you're trying to leave," I said. "leave then."
I watched as he left from my view. "Am I wrong Mama Joyce?" I asked. I cried some more
Deshawn P.O.V.
I know I probably overacted, but you don't understand the pain she's going to put me through. I can't imagine another nigga touching, kissing, or even looking at my baby. I'm making a mistake! I want to marry this girl and we're fighting over stupid shit. I'm not going to let this ruin us.
I sat in the backseat of Joyce's car. I received messages back to back.
Deshawn ❤: Baby please call me.
Deshawn ❤: I'm sorry, answer the phone.
Deshawn ❤: I know I hurt you, but can you come see me. I'm going to be at home.
Deshawn ❤: Krystal Chayanne Hopson, I love you! I overacted because I don't want you to leave me. Do you know how much it hurted me hearing you wanted to move that fucking far?
Deshawn ❤: I guess not.
Deshawn ❤: Meet me at O'Charley's.
I finally wrote back.
Me: Okay.
"Is that him?" Mama Joyce asked looking through her mirror. "Yeah." I responded whipping my eyes. "So, what are you going to do?" she asked. "Meet him. Can you drop me off at O'Charley's?" I asked. "Sure." she said smiling.
Mama Joyce had dropped me off and waved good-bye as she drove away. I actually didn't want to see him, but I wanted to hear what he had to say. I grabbed the mirror out my make-up bag. "Damn, look at my eyes," I said "it looks like I've been crying even though I have."
I spotted Deshawn and I sat on the other side of the booth. "What's up?" I asked. He looked me in my eyes. I could tell he felt my pain. "I'm sorry for making you cry." he said. I held my hand up. "You don't have to apologize. I will live." I said.
"I've came up with a decision. I will move to St.Louis with you. I don't want to imagine a life without you." he said. I smiled. I looked down. "You didn't have to give off your dream college." I said. "If I can't have my dream girl with it then I don't want it." he said.
Everything he says to me makes my heart melt. He's such a good sweet talker.
"Graduations soon? Are you ready?" I asked. "No." he answered.
"How do you feel? " he asked. "Happy honestly." I answered. "What about you?" I asked. "I'm happy. Because I have my better half by my side." he said looking at me.
"Let's get out of here." he considered.
