Happy! Where are you little buddy? Natsu yelled across the mountain. I hope I didn't hurt him with that blast Lucy. Natsu said with gritted teeth as he looked under the rock debris. I don't smell him here. Natsu said. Maybe he went to find help for us. Lucy said. Yeah that is probably exactly what he did. He can cover much faster ground that we can by flying. Natsu said. That's probably why he can't hear us calling for him. 
                          
I just know they are ok. Happy kept telling himself over and over as he flew as fast as he could to find help from anyone he came across. I will save my friends! Happy said with determination as he flew towards a fire in the distance. A group of men were huddled around a camp fire when Happy came flying into their camp and landed nearby. Please can you guys help me find my friends? They were caught in a cave in up on the mountain! Happy said. They were looking for this ruby and well they got stuck and they may be hurt.
                          
The men looked at one another. Did he mention a ruby? Another one of the men said. They all smiled to each other. Sure cat we will help you save your friends. Lead the way! So cat which cave is it they were in? One of the men asked Happy. It was the small cave on the left of the mountain. Happy replied. Do you know if they found the treasure? Another man asked Happy with a deep voice. Um I think I did hear them talking about seeing something sparkling in the back right before...hot tears ran down Happy's face as he sobbed. Its ok little cat we will help you find your friends. One of the men said with a sneer. 
                          
That's the cave just ahead! Happy told the men. Happy! Natsu cried as he rounded the corner. Natsu! Happy wailed as he flew into his arms. I was so worried about you and Lucy! Happy cried. We are alright little buddy. Natsu said with a smile. Um Happy who are your new friends? Natsu asked. I found these men and asked them for their help in finding you. Happy said with a smile. Thank you guys! My friends are safe so you can leave now. That's not why we came little cat. One of the men said with a laugh. Huh? Well then why did you come then? Happy said confused. The girl is holding it! Tom grab her! Lucy jumped backwards as one of the men lunged at her. Now hold on a moment guys, Lucy said. This is our ruby. We found it first. We have a job to do so lay off. That ruby and maybe you are coming with me, Tom said. Natsu stepped in front of Lucy causing the man to stop. Over my dead body! Natsu seethed. 
                          
That can be arranged boy! The big man said as he pulled out a sword and swung at Natsu. Natsu grinned as he easily dodged the sword. Several of the men backed up when flames ignited in Natsu's hands and across his body. He's a wizard you guys! Oh crap! The man facing Natsu said with a pale face as he backed up. Are you sure you want to mess with us? Natsu said with a wicked grin. Um maybe we were wrong. The men said all together in unison. 
                          
You can have the treasure let's get out of here men! The one named Tom said. They took off running as Natsu threw small fireballs at them and laughed as they tried to dodge them. Ok Natsu you have had your fun! Lucy said with a laugh. Let's go home. Lucy softly said to him as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Natsu smiled. Yeah you're right Luucccy. Let's go home.
                          
Did you see the size of that ruby in that girl's hand. Tom said to the other men deep in the woods. Yeah we all sure did Tom the others said as they all smiled. Those young wizards don't know who their messing with! Roy the largest man in the group said with a sneer. They may have one up on us with being wizards, but they aren't trackers like we are Roy stated to the group causing them all to laugh. The girl is carrying it so we need to make our move when she is away from that guy. She's a celestial wizard, Tom said. I saw her keys on her belt. It will be easy. Roy said with a wicked grin. 
                          
Here Lucy take my coat you're freezing! Natsu said with a frown. It's a lot colder now Natsu you need to keep it. Lucy said with concern in her voice. Nah I'll be fine just need to eat some fire soon. Natsu said with a grin. Thanks Natsu! Lucy yelled to him over the blizzard. Natsu's hands slid across her shoulders and helped her with putting her arms through the sleeves. Here Happy get in my shirt it will help ya little buddy. Natsu said to Happy on a laugh as Happy grumbled. Lucy watched Natsu from the corners of her eyes and saw the tiniest shake to his shoulders. Lucy ground her teeth. He really does need some fire soon. Lucy whispered to herself.
