-John's POV-
"Freddie, where are we going?" I asked as I squirmed around in my seat. He smiled as he said, "You'll see..." I started shaking profusely, a panic attack was coming. He noticed and held my hand, "It's a good thing, trust me."

"Why can't you just tell me? I'm getting anxious." I said, whilst looking at him. He looked at me for a second before turning back to keep driving, "It's just a nice little holiday in Brighton." My nerves got worse, "That's where C-Charlie lives..." He started panicking as well, "Ah shit, I didn't know that."

"We'll be fine...I'll protect you." Fred smiled with a bit of anger in his voice. We haven't spoken about Charlie since the incident. We didn't like to talk about it. Talking about him makes me cry.

When we got there, I realised an issue. "Fred, I don't have any stuff!" I shouted quietly. He grabbed my shoulder gently, "It's ok, I've got some stuff." I took a big sigh of relief before kissing him. As we were kissing, someone shouted, "Stupid fags!"

I burst out with tears. Fred gave me a big hug and reassured me, "Hey, it's okay. Ignore people who say that, it might happen a lot." It didn't make me feel better at all, out of anything I felt worse.

I grabbed my stuff and went up to the room, trying not to cry when I looked at Freddie. He caught on and his head hung low. He stopped me going into the room, "I need you to wait here. I'll take your stuff though." I looked at him confused but listened to what he was saying.

After a few minutes, he came out in a tuxedo. I laughed, "Why are you wearing that?" He smiled widely, "Come in and find out!" He led me inside the room.

"Oh my god," I said when I saw the heart shaped bed with rose petals scattered over it. The room was dimly lit with red candles. I gasped, "Fred, this is amazing." I turned around to see him on one knee with a small box in his hand.

"John Richard Deacon, I love you so much. Will you marry me?"

"Yes, I will marry you!"
