When Larry walked in, he could only think of the worst. Every light in the house was off, all the blinds were pulled shut, and every TV was unplugged. After flicking on the living room light, Larry finally got sight of Sal. He was laying face down on the couch, a rag laid across his neck, and he was only in his underwear. "Are you drunk?" He asked, stepping closer to Sal. "Please turn off the light," He mumbled. Larry's face twisted into one of confusion, and he turned around and flicked the switch back off. "I've got a headache from finals." Larry frowned and made his way to the couch, kissed Sal's forehead, and then headed to the kitchen. "I've got just the thing to fix you up."
                          
Sal knew he was back by the overwhelming smell of peppermint. "What the fuck smells like Christmas?" He asked as he rolled over. The throbbing in his head relaxed a bit as he inhaled the scent, and he closed his eyes at the sensation. "Peppermint helps headaches." Larry said as he handed him a small cup of tea. "And that's my moms recipe. The two of these should help you get better." Sal smiled at the gesture and took a small sip of the tea, letting the flavors roll over his tongue. Larry soon removed the hair ties from Sal's locks and combed his fingers gently through it, rubbing at certain spots on his head as he did so. "Larry I love you so fucking much." Sal said softly. He sat down the teacup and closed his eyes, leaning into Larry's hands. "I know, Sally." He whispered. "Go to sleep for me. Relax." And before he knew it, Sal was sleeping soundly. Larry carefully moved him to where he was laying down, then covered him with a blanket. "Sleep good, kid. You deserve it."
