But the intention was clear, by not naming any names, peoples imaginations could only think of the one major Empire, the one currently getting a lot of attention by the media. Owned by a one, Kazuki Hiromasa.
"Sir, do you not fear any retaliation from the man?" Yoshiaki had to ask. Though the man was a beta, even he would think-twice about challenging such an man like the renowned Alpha. But Hisaya seemed to be taking it all in stride.
Lifting his attention from the newspaper he deliberated having framed, Hisaya raised a brow. "More so than what he has already done?"
"Yes sir, if its true that Mr. Hiromasa is the one behind your attack then what's to say he won't go a step further?"
The striking Omega rose from behind his desk, grabbing his jacket from the back of his seat and slipping it on. Only a fool wouldn't question the same things that his advisor was doing. Only someone who didn't appreciate and acknowledge the difference between an Omega and Alphas strength would be undoubtedly that naive. Like the original host.
Fahren didn't care whether or not he was a omega, beta or even an alpha. The same rules applied to any of them when he was involved. This barbaric way of life, and distortion of mother-nature wouldn't change the way he was. If it did, he would be disrespecting his mother and the many years she spent moulding her three sons into respectable young men.
Yoshiaki didn't question his bosses movements, only handing him his bag as they made their way out of the office. The topic hadn't shifted though, as Hisaya continued. "I'm under no impression that Hiromasa wasn't the one to try and put me down, and I highly doubt he was the one that directly ordered the person who tried to. The man is a snake in the grass, and it's going to be difficult to find concrete evidence against a guy who has many people who can back-up an otherwise solid alibi."
They reached the car park, and Hisaya slid in the passenger seat of the ready-and-waiting car. When Yoshiaki took his place behind the wheel, he looked to the young man for instruction, all whilst still listening to the others' intriguing words. "So we need to lure the snake out. Head to the south district, we've got a reservation."
And they were off. They were currently located in what was aptly named the 'Commercial District'. The district where all the money was, and where affluent businesses were located. Along with extortionately priced apartments and houses. To the south, was the 'Food District', or 'Grub District'. Which was where they were heading.
Though there were many food outlets all around, the most well-known and most-desirable were in the southern district. Because of this, the prices were not lenient, and many fresh-faced celebrities and, in their case, top businessmen, were frequently spotted.
Which also meant that the ever-present men with cameras would be lurking around. Which Hisaya intended to take advantage of.
After a short drive they arrived in front of one of the most popular restaurants in the area. When they climbed out of the car, a valet popped up and happily went to park the car for them. Given that this was a restaurant, and not some hotel, Hisaya thought it was a bit ostentatious.
As both men made a beeline for the doorway, flashes came from the left and right. Yoshiaki raised a hand to shield his eyes whilst his young boss strode with his chin up. Making sure the cameras got all his good angles. He even offered the beta a Mona-Lisa smile over his shoulder, which would most definitely be front-page material.
When Hisaya gave his name, he was told his lunch-companion was already seated. The waiter led the way, over to one of the tables positioned by the large glass-panelled windows. As he approached, he spotted a small figure that looked very uncomfortable in his surroundings. When the pretty face spotted them, his eyes lit up. More out of relief that he wouldn't be alone anymore.
