Chapter 8

                                    

                                          
Luka was out giving deliveries at night. When he was out he spotted Chat Noir. A chance for Luka to finally confront him about endangering Marinette.
                          
Luka shoves Chat Noir onto the wall, "Leave her alone about her organization. You're the bad guy I actually want Marinette safe."
                          
"Like you actually know what is going on!" He glared with anger in his eyes as he didn't want to fight. 
                          
"No, I don't. But she was in love with you so she can be blindsided. If you do anything where she gets hurt, it's going to be your fault." Luka glared at him to see his reaction. Chat Noir was confused, but he already knew this. 
                          
"Don't you think I don't know that?" He exclaimed for an answer. 
                          
"Then leave her alone! Quit c9nfusing her that you're going to change if you're not going to keep that promise." He growled at Chat Noir. Chat Noir just looked at him because he was right.
                          
But he believes in her he can't leave Marinette.s
                          
"I'm not going to listen to you, Luka. She has to tell me how she feels, not you!" He pushed Luka off and pinned him to the ground. 
                          
Luka raises his hands in defeat, with anger in his eyes, "Fine. I'm warning you that if Marinette gets into trouble. I'm accounting for it." 
                          
With that Chat Noir nodded and let him go as he walked off and disappear into the streets. Leaving Chat Noir stunned with anger and confusion as he transformed back into Adrien.
                          
"Harsh words from Mr. Rockstar," Plagg states as he flew into Adrien's pocket.
                          
"He's only concerned for Marinette." Adrien shrugged.

"Marinette?" Luka says as he waited by the school. He had finished his duties for the day and went early to pick up his sister.
                          
As he waited he saw Marinette leaving school early. He walks up to her as she was lost in thought waiting for something, "Are you okay?"
                          
Marinette looked behind and saw Luka, "Yeah. I'm okay, just not feeling well."
                          
"You sure? Did Adrien do anything to you?" Luka growled.
                          
"No, Luka. It not him that I'm not feeling well. I think I might have caught a virus," Marinette admits.
                          
"Do you want me to walk you home?" Luka offered.
                          
"Thanks, Luka but don't worry. I know Juleka would like it if you walked her home, she misses you." Marinette smile.
                          
"Alright, I'll do whatever my girlfriend says" Luka smiles then pulled Marinette into a hug. She went on her tiptoes to reach his lips. He pulls her waist closer to him so as not to part away from the kiss. He pulled her in a protective hug to keep kissing her. He stops to whisper to her ear, "I'll check on you at your place."
                          
Marinette giggles under his smirk, "Ok Luka, I'm going to get you sick now." She pushes him away.
                          
"Don't worry about me, go home now." She kissed him on the cheek before she headed her way home as Marinette's headache started to hurt.
                          
"You should have accepted his offer to take you home, you're not doing so well," Tikki says from her purse.
                          
"It no problem, really. I just need to go home and rest." She felt lightheaded on her way through the park. Her sharp mind of paying attention was out of place. She was distracted in her thoughts not knowing someone was behind her. Tikki gave a warning before Marinette can turn to see who it was she was knocked out in a second by the smoke of dust.

Marinette was sitting in a metal chair and her arms, her legs as well, were held down by metal and bolts securing the metal to the chair. She was slowly beginning to awaken. Her eyes fluttered open in a daze. She looked around. Everything was dark, except for the one light that hung above her. And one light only chases away so much of the dark. She came to discover her head was pounding and that she couldn't move her arms or her legs.
