"Being Happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections."

At 6:00 pm sharp, I started to give out the cupcakes. I made sure that everyone got one, from the Bangtan boys to the baker that worked in Wattbakery. Everyone deserved a piece of my love and affection, through the form of a cupcake.

It made me so happy to see people enjoying the food I made, and I couldn't stop smiling and blushing as people's eyes would widen as they took a bite of my red velvet cupcakes. [A/N: yes, I had to use 'Red Velvet' xD ]

I'll share a little secret: I actually suck at baking or cooking in any form apart from red velvet cupcakes. Thank god Seokjin is great at cooking, or else we'd both starve to death.

I had actually learned how to bake red velvet cupcakes from Taehyung as a teen. He never told anyone, but he loved baking cupcakes. Red velvet the most. To this day, I still smile sadly every time I see someone eating them because it reminds me so much of when we were both in a simpler time, baking cupcakes and joking around.

But now, I get to pass on these amazing moments and memories to everyone, letting them take away a moment of joy from the cupcakes I baked. It made me feel truly happy and satisfied.

I had ended the day with another small speech, thanking everyone for participating, and having fun generally chatting with different people. I had finally gotten over my insecurities and was surprised to find out how fun it was to chat with strangers.

Seokjin tugged on my arm, gently bringing me out of my thoughts. He was smiling shyly at me, a smile which I found adorable, and tugged deeply at my heartstrings. He looked like an angel.

"Y/N?" He called me, hesitating slightly. I looked at him, caressing his cheek with one of my hands as I muttered a soft yes.

"Can you go somewhere with me tonight, just the two of us?" His eyes were shining, and he was blushing slightly at my touch.

I returned his smile. "Of course! Where are we going? You better take me to a 5-star restaurant after all the effort I put into the final task," I said, laughing.

Then, his eyes glistened in mischief. "It's going to be a surprise."

-

"We're here," Seokjin sang out, cutting the engine of his car. I wanted so desperately to look around, but I couldn't, as Seokjin had blindfolded me the second we got inside the car, insisting that the destination would have to be a surprise.

"Where are we?" I whispered as I felt him brush his fingers against my hair. We had been driving around for a while, so it couldn't be close to home. Where was Seokjin taking me?

He chuckled lightly as he got out of the car, and I heard his soft footsteps walking over to my side of the door, opening it gently as a small rush of wind entered the car.

He unbuckled my seat belt as I tried to fumble with the blindfold, to which Seokjin grabbed my arms and put them to my sides. "I'll tell you when you can take them off. But for now, just trust me." He had leaned in to whisper into my ears, and I shuddered as his breath hit the skin of my neck.

Sighing, I consented to his wishes, letting him help me out of his car. Everything was slightly harder to do with a blindfold on, so I would occasionally bump into his chest, causing his breath to hitch.

It was very silent here, with the occasional sound of crickets chirping or the soft whistle of the wind blowing into the trees. We weren't in an urban area.

Seokjin grasped my hand tightly, leading the way. As we progressed on the deserted roads, I stopped in shock when my feet hit a soft patch of sand.

Were we at the beach?

"Okay, you can take off your blindfold now." The second he gave me permission to, I almost ripped off the blindfold in excitement. He frowned.  "Can you not? That fabric was really expensive," he complained, but I ignored him and admired where we were instead, eyes widened.

Seokjin had indeed brought me to a beach. But it wasn't just any beach. This was a very silent beach, with clean and fine sand, the moonlight causing it to look more white than yellow.

I caught a whiff of the sea and felt my muscles relax. For some reason, I had always liked the sea and beaches in general. They made me calm and happy. I looked up at Seokjin. I had only brought up my love for beaches once, but he seemed to remember it, as this was the place he had chosen to take me tonight.

His eyes were bright black orbs under the moonlight. I smiled at him again as I linked my arms with his, beckoning him forward with a tug.

We walked for a while under the pale moonlight, which somehow managed to illuminate everything perfectly. I could tell he was nervous, but I wasn't sure about what. Maybe he was worried about it being night time, and us being here alone.

But I didn't feel worried at all as we paced across the long beach, taking a leisurely stroll. The wind played with my hair as I breathed in the aromatic scent of the sea. It was so peaceful here, I was grateful for Seokjin bringing me here.

Until he stopped suddenly, dragging me to a halt. He was hesitating, I could see.

"Y/N... can I ask you something?" He said breathily, eyelids heavy.

My heart started to beat faster than ever. "Yes?"

"Will you marry me?"
