The silence was intense. His gaze you could feel burning into you as you kept looking out the window. You knew what he was thinking and you couldn't do it. Not after what happened. It wasn't possible. You heard his fingers against the steering wheel as the car stayed parked. You looked at the familiar surroundings. This was going to end badly.

"Get out of the car Jasmine." His voice was stern. You knew he was getting agitated with you but you were not going in there.

You kept silent knowing his anger will be getting higher and higher as you spoke nothing. You didn't blame him for being anger but he needs to know you can't do this. No matter how hard he begs as he pulls his puppy dog face. You just can't cave in. You can't get out of the car an go up to the door and hope for their open arms.

You can't. They wanted you out. So you were out. You can't just go back hoping for them to get over themselves and actually love you. This was something you wished no one would have to go through. You knew he wanted you to be happy but this wasn't going to get it done. He knew that. But I guess him driving you there and offering to stay was a good idea. Well you hoped if you got out of the car he would go with you.

"Calum, I told you no." You answered glancing to him and back out the window. You heard him sigh. His belt was unclasped as his door was heard to be opened and then closed.

Eyes widened as he opened your door and unclasped your belt. "If you're not getting out by yourself then I'll get you out myself." He instructed before grabbing you and lifting you out of your seat.

"Calum!" You shrieked waning him to let you down. His hip nudged the door closed as he placed your feet back on the ground. "You know I hate you right?" He chuckled at your comment before grabbing your wrist and pulling you up the porch steps.

The house was still the same. Nothing changed after a month. You just hoped the people living inside was a different story. He reached his hand up as he knocked on the door. You tried to turn and run but he stopped you. The door opened revealing your mom. She smiled widely as her eyes landed on you.

"Jasmine!" Her arms wrapped around you as she speaks of how much love she has for you. You awkwardly hugged back before patting her back. She pulled away from you smiling at the boy who looked on beside you.

You walked into the house in front of everyone as you heard your mom whisper a 'thank you' to Calum. This was a little to happy for your self at the moment. You noticed things where cleaned up. More then they were usually. Walking into the kitchen the dinner was already waiting as your father didn't move from his seat at the table.

Let the games begin. Placing yourself further away from him as possible, you didn't want to be in his eye sight until he was ready for you. Calum placed himself beside you as he gave you a reassuring smile. The table stayed silent as you mom kept her eyes on her unfocused husband.

"Say something." You could hear the plead in her voice as she looked at him.

"You fucking my daughter?" Calum began to cough as he looked to you and then your father.

"No sir. Just a friend. Your daughter is younger then me, I would never take advantage of her." His voice was calm yet shaky with his explanation. Your father hummed in response.

You looked to him waiting for an apology. Something to know him stating you to leave wasn't actually how he felt. You can remember the tears and sleepless nights that came. His words were strong in your mind an to couldn't help but want to leave life. But you couldn't. It wasn't something worth leaving. You knew he wasn't going to say anything so you had to speak up.

"Dad, did you uhm mean what you said to me?" Your fork scrapped your plate as you moved your food around.

"Jasmine" He placed his silverware down "I love you truly. You know this. That night seeing this boy drop you off made me furious. I thought so many things. I didn't give you a chance to explain or understand what was really going on." You looked up to as you noticed his eyes were glossing over.

His hand reached out to grab yours. You placed your hand closer to his as he held tightly to yours. "Dad, I'm sorry."

"Baby no, I'm sorry. You seem to have a good friend here and I shouldn't have said what I did. You are not a mistake or a whore. You are my little girl and I love you so much." You noticed your mother place her hand on your dad's shoulder.

"Can I come home?"

"I wouldn't want anything more." Your father released your hand as he stood up from the table. You got up and moved to him as he embraced you In a hug. Finally letting the tears fall.

After the little emotional experience, the rest of the dinner was filled with your father and Calum talking. Calum had little jokes that made you and your father laugh. The smile on your mother's face never vanished. Walking Calum to the door you hand so much to say to him. But nothing could come out. As you walked out with him you hugged him tightly. His arms wrapped around you holding you tightly to him.

"Calum thank you so much."

"Jasmine, you know I will do anything to see you smile." You hugged him tighter knowing you couldn't wish for a better friend.
