Hotland was like a desert to the group. But for Frisk, Undyne and Monster Kid, the temperature was all too familiar. As soon as the River Man dropped them off at their destination, the others were immediately greeted by a heat wave of the hottest place in the Underground. Hotland was colored a fiery orange and the heat could almost rival an ordinary desert, but it was home to some of the greatest attractions in the Underground, one of them being the television star known as Mettaton.

Right now, the group was walking on an orange road that simmered like patties on a grill. While Frisk, Undyne, and Monster Kid walked with ease, the rest of the group wasn't feeling too well. Some of them were dragging their feet. Others were being carried due to their exhaustion. For Kai, he just walked contently. Somehow, the heat of Hotland didn't bother him.

"So...hot..." Ruby complained as she slowly walked on the road, dragging her feet.

"Of all the places in the Underground, why here?!" Rainbow shouted as Rabbid Peach lied down on the pony's back, taking selfies with a tired face covered in sweat.

"Well, Hotland didn't get its name for nothing, dude," Frisk replied, turning around to face the others.

"MARS," Dipper said, fanning his chest with his shirt. "Do you have an air conditioner on you?"

"I am capable of making flurries of snow," MARS replied. "I can make one for you if you wish."

"Please do..." With that, the young boy sighed in relief when the UFO-like object hovered above him and slowly began to spin as small pieces of ice and snow fell from under her. "Thank you, MARS."

"Ugh, all of this heat is killing me!" Sonic whined. "I need a drink!"

"Well, don't even think about it!" Cuphead retorted when the hedgehog said "drink".

Meanwhile, Keith raised an eyebrow at the young cup before turning to Morgana, who was cradled in his arms.

"I don't know..." The cat said with a hoarse voice and a shrug. "I just met these people today..."

Then, Toby started barking, grabbing attention from the group.

"Toby?" Lilac asked, bending over to the white dog. "What is it, boy?"

The small puppy pointed his nose at the path the group traveled on as he barked. Raising an eyebrow, the dragon and everyone else looked around until they heard a loud clicking sound coming from the right. Turning to the direction the sound was coming from, they all found an odd-shaped dummy with upper teeth on the torso and angry-looking eyes. The dummy was hopping toward the group and stopped when he felt he was close enough.

"Oh no..." Frisk mumbled for she recognized that dummy anywhere.

"Remember me?!" The dummy shouted, and the rest of the group was taken aback.

"What the heck?!" Cuphead exclaimed.

"Did that-a dummy just-a talk?!" Mario exclaimed with his eyes wide.

"I have to be hallucinating..." Ruby said, rubbing her eyes. But as soon as she was done, the dummy was still there. "Oh no, it's real!" She shrieked.

"Who are you?" Kai asked.

"It's okay, guys..." Frisk said with a sigh. "He's just an acquaintance from Waterfall..."

"Yeah," Undyne agreed. "I've met this dude multiple times back on the surface."

"I may or may not have run over him a couple times before Frisk entered our lives..." Monster Kid said with a sheepish grin.

"With that out of the way," Frisk sighed again, her stoic face looking at the dummy. "What is it this time, Mr. Mad Dummy?"
