I hummed a happy tune as I watched the two Survivors I captured fly off in the Rocket Chairs.

I enjoyed their panicked yells
as they flew off.

Not long after, another Rocket Chair launched.

I silently cheered for Leo.

Slowly, I walked off in search of more Survivors to capture. We're going to win today! I thought, as I admired the moonlight reflecting from my claws.

I saw someone running around, oblivious to my presence, it seems.

I realized that it was Emma.

I then realized that I was blushing behind the mask.

...wait, what?

No, no, no! I am the predator, and she is the prey. I'm not supposed to think like this.

But if that's so, why did I find Emma Woods so goddamn enthralling?

Well, I don't think I should confess to her today. Leo seems to care quite a lot about the young Gardener.

As I snapped back into reality, I realized that Emma was gone.

I looked around.

Yep, she was nowhere to be seen.

I inwardly cursed myself for being so lovestruck.

I stood still, and listened to the sounds of the wind and...something else.

Emma was still nearby, and she was at a cipher machine.

I walked over to her. She was still unaware. I raised my clawed hand up, but somehow I couldn't find it in myself to hit her.

Instead, I lightly gripped her shoulder with my unclawed hand.

Ever so slowly, Emma turned around.

She was about to yell, but I placed a single finger on her mouth. "Shh."

She nodded frantically, and I took away my hand.

"What could such a lovely young maiden be up to, walking deep in the night?" I cooed.

"...!" Her face turned red.

I laughed. Not a creepy intimidating laugh, but a genuine one.

"W-well..." She looked away and stammered, "Perhaps y-you could lead t-this maiden to safety...?"

I grinned beneath my mask.

Hiding my excitement, I stepped back and bowed deeply to her.

"As you wish, milady."
