You find yourself driving to Mina's house in a hurry when you originally thought you would have a peaceful Saturday morning. But then again, why would you think that? You can barely remember the last time you lived through a normal day.
You arrive on her front doorstep and frantically pound your fist on the door, waiting for a response. You really don't have a reason to be this worked up over the message your best friend had sent to you, but there was an ominous feeling that overtook you when you first received it.
Mina finally comes to the door, the look on her face all but reinstating the bad feelings you have about her request to speak with you. "I'm glad you're here," she says with a deep sigh. "You should come inside for this..."
She leads you through the front door and up the stairs to her bedroom. "What's going on?" you question warily, unsure if you really want to hear the answer.
She sits down beside you on her bed, then finally turns herself toward you and slowly speaks to answer your question. "The spell... There's something we didn't know about it. I just recently found out now..." She pauses, pursing her lips, hesitating to continue until you grab her hand and shake it around frantically in desperation for her to finish breaking the news. "There's a catch to it."
You furrow you eyebrows and push your hair behind your ear as you stand up, already panicking before she could even go into detail. "Catch? What kind of catch?"
"(Y/n)." She grasps your forearm and pulls you back to where you sat on the bed with an unreadable expression as she breaks the eye contact between the two of you. "If I cast the spell on the boys to make them human, then every human they had come across during their lives as vampires will have no memory of them."
The shock prevents you from being able to produce any sort of response. You simply sit, frozen, staring at the corner of Mina's bedroom. She looks to you and attempts to break the trance you are in, and you finally snap back to reality, rashly standing up and pacing across her floor as the information she just relayed to you sets in. You bring your hands up to your head and run them through your hair as panic finally sets in. "What!? So, you're telling me that if Jungkook finally isable to become human, it won't matter because I'll have no idea who he is!?"
She gives you a sympathetic look and remains silent as you look as if you're about to tear your hair out of your head. Finally she speaks up in a gentle voice, "I think we should go talk to the boys." She pauses and you slowly bring your hands down and begin to wring your fingers out of sheer stress. "Come on. I'll drive us there."
The two of you had arrived at the house of the seven vampires and made your way through the front gate. As you walk up the front steps, Seokjin greets you at the front door. "Hey, you didn't tell us you were coming." He looked to both of your faces and the worry on your expressions must have been all too evident as his friendly smile drops to an expression of concern to match yours. "Is everything okay?"
You say nothing. Mina glances over to you for a moment before she responds, "There's... a bit of a problem."
Seokjin ushers you in quickly as the rest of the boys gather from different parts of the house into the living room, obviously having heard what Mina said at the entrance. Jungkook approaches you warily and slowly puts an arm around you in an attempt to comfort you, but unbeknownst to him, it does exactly the opposite. After all, this problem has a big impact on the two of you. As you both sit down on the couch, Yoongi is the last to enter the room. You meet his gaze and it makes your heart skip a beat in your chest, which you're sure he notices. You didn't mean to react that way to his presence, but this was also coincidentally the first time you've seen him since Jungkook had revealed the full story of his past to you, and from what you gathered, you're basically a living reminder that the woman he loved chose another man over him. So of course it's a little uncomfortable. If he does sense your uneasiness, however, he doesn't show it and only gives you a small nod as he sits next to Hoseok.
