"You look like hell." This is the first thing Mina says to you as you guys meet in the morning in the parking lot. She immediately puts joking aside though and shows her caring nature when she continues, "What's going on? You look you didn't sleep at all last night."

That's because I didn't. You think to yourself, but you knew you couldn't tell her the real reason why. She would never believe that you had lost so much sleep over something that probably wasn't even real. But every time you closed your eyes you still saw the glow of red eyes down that alleyway. What could it possibly have been? Sure, you may have been a little tired, but not enough to hallucinate. There must be some sort of logical explanation. As soon as you begin to reason with yourself, you go straight back to thinking that you may have come face-to-face with whatever creature has been tormenting your town for the past few weeks. If that really was the case though, that means that creature is definitely a bigger threat than a rabid animal. Something... inhuman. Nope. There you go again. It must be fake.

"Hello?" Your train of thought is interrupted by Mina snapping her fingers in front of your face, trying to bring your wandering mind back down to earth.

"Sorry, I was just lost in thought, I guess. I have a test today, so I stayed up too late to study for that. I really am fine, though." You reasoned and came up with a completely false excuse. You hate lying to Mina, but you figure your overactive imagination is something you don't have to be completely truthful about.

"Why don't we go get a coffee from the cafeteria? I think you could use one," she says with a laugh. No kidding. You nod and drowsily make your way into the school towards the cafeteria to give yourself some much needed caffeine.

You're still sipping on the same coffee about halfway through Chemistry, and according to Yuna, you look dead. So obviously, the coffee isn't helping all that much. "Alright everyone, today we're going to be doing a lab with your partners. This lab does contain a harsh chemical that will burn skin if it touches you. It's called..." Your teacher drones on and on about the classic lab safety rules that you hear every single time. You stop listening and put your head down on your desk, hoping Jungkook would listen and know what to do for the experiment.

You faintly hear that the teacher stops talking and enjoy the brief moment of peaceful silence while students get to work, but it is unfortunately interrupted by a "Hey." coming from your left. You pick your head up with a frown and rest it on your hand as you lazily turn toward the source, Jungkook. "Let's get to work." He says that with a hint of what you perceive as annoyance in his voice, causing you straighten yourself up to make yourself look more willing to work. You let out a small chuckle at how he carefully reads over the instructions a few times and then begins to organize the materials before starting. He seems to notice and turns to you with a peeved look and voice with more than a hint of annoyance this time as he asks, "What?"

Someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... but then again so did you. "Hm? I don't know. I guess I just didn't peg you as a studious kind of guy," you state with a laugh in attempts to lighten the situation a bit.

He gives a look of offense that somewhat confuses you. Did I say something wrong? "Thanks," he says in an extremely obvious sarcastic tone. You then realize that what you had said was probably taken offensively, which was not your intention, but you hadn't really thought before you said it. Crap. Situations like these are when your, quite truthfully, horrible conversation skills were your greatest downfall. Usually, Mina helps you out by using her natural charm and clearing up the misunderstanding, but unfortunately, she was no where near and had no way to help you out of this one.

"Oh! Wait, I didn't mean it like that. Really, I just meant... I guess I was impressed or something, I don't know. But really I didn't mean to offend you." He had turned back to the lab already at this point and you weren't even sure if he was listening anymore. Honestly, you wouldn't blame him if he wasn't.
