I am a girl who has a limited number of fears; and going to a new school is definitely not one of it. I am not like other teenagers who feels dreadful during their first day at school because they are transfers. A change of environment does not even bother me. I do not know what's the fuss about it, everything's just the same. It is still a school where you have to study and that you will learn. I just miss my old school and my friends, but other than that, I am okay. I am not scared shitless. The only thing that concerns me now is wearing this freaking school uniform.

I spent a lot of time staring at myself in the mirror feeling uncomfortable with my short plaid skirt and my tie. It's my first time wearing a uniform and all I could think of is that it suffocates me. I do not even like the sight of my thighs slightly exposed. Damn.. I put on the required black high socks, wore my black shoes and tied my hair into a bun before I grabbed my backpack and decided to leave my room and stop staring at myself in the mirror. I know it's awful, no need to make myself more miserable about it.

During breakfast my mom and my aunt kept on talking about how I look good in my uniform and that I really look like a grown up lady now. I wanted to shout how much I hated it but seeing them look at me with appreciative eyes made me not to. At least I do not look stupid in this uniform. It's a relief, really.

I left ahead of them and started walking my way towards Brentville High and as I did, I saw other teenagers wearing the same uniform as mine heading there as well. Some teenagers looked at me and I think they already knew that I am a newbie. I just looked at them back not even smiling. I do not intend to look pleasing just to have friends.

A few minutes later there I was, walking towards the school's entrance. There are a lot of kids hurrying their way inside the school's main gate probably not wanting to be late for class or just excited to see their friends or classmates again. I walked in an even pace and took my time when all of a sudden, someone bumped me from behind that I almost toppled over. The person who bumped me grabbed me by the hip before I could fall using only one arm and only a boy could do that and I wasn't wrong.

"Oh jeez I'm so sorry!" A worried faced tall teenager dude is now standing in front of me apologizing to what just had happened. He has black hair cut neatly short, high cheek bones and a pointy nose. His eyes were expressive enough that I can see he is sincere with his apology. What caught my attention is his lean physique, it looks like he is a member of some sport team or something. "Are you okay?" He asked me worriedly.

I was suddenly rattled by his question. Damn girl! Stop checking him out! I thought to myself. "I'm fine." I told him simply.

The guy smiled at me. "Good." He answered then eyed me. "You're new here aren't you?" I nodded and he chuckled. "Well then, welcome to Brentville High."

It looked like he was about to introduce himself but some guys called him and he waved a hand at them before turning back to me. "See you around." He told me for the last time and then ran towards the other guys' direction.

I shrugged and continued to walk and took out my schedule. I looked at it as I walk while trying to find the room for my first class when again, for the second time, someone bumped me. This time in the shoulders.

"Ow!" I shouted. It hurts.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

I rubbed my right shoulder and turned to whoever it was who bumped me. It was a girl this time.

She kept on bowing herself over and over while saying 'I'm sorry' and I had my head move up and down as she did so.

"Stop it. It's okay." I told her and let out a faint laugh.

The girl stopped and looked at me with her head tilted to one side. Her lips are in a pout and she looked at me with her doll-like eyes. "T-Thanks." She muttered. Then she took sight of the piece of paper I am holding. "Is that a schedule?" She asked and I nodded.

"I'm finding the room for my first class.." I told her.

"Here let me see." She took the paper from my hand and gasped. "Oh! We have the same class!" She looked at me with a bright smile. "You're also a Junior! But.. I haven't seen you before.. Are you new?"

"Yes, I am.." I tried to smile a bit.

"How nice!" The girl exclaimed clasping her hands together. "I'm Park Bom. You can call me Bom, Bommie, or Pretty." She winked at me then laughed. She has long, jet black hair in waves with prominent cheeks and a friendly smile.

"I'm Arya Lee." I told her letting out a genuine smile.

"Nice to meet you, Arya Lee! We can walk to first class together if you like." She offered looking excited.

"Sure." I nodded smilingly.

"But we have to wait for another friend of mine. I think she'll be here any minute now.." Bom looked around.

Just then a girl with blonde hair tied up in a pony style approached us. She has full bangs and with a heavy eye liner that made her eyes look like cat's eyes. This girl does not look friendly though unlike Bom. She looked bad ass judging by how she carries herself and the look on her face.

"Chaerin!" Bom screamed and hugged the girl like they haven't seen each other in ages.

"Park Bom you're choking me!" The girl whom she called Chaerin told her and tried to wriggle herself free from Bom's tight embrace.

"I just missed you, Chaerin!" Bom tried to kiss the girl's cheeks.

"Stop it or I'll punch you in the stomach!" The girl threatened and Bom looked slightly hurt. "And stop calling me Chaerin!"

I laughed at the sight of them because they looked cute, and it made the blond haired girl look at me sternly. I froze. Her eyes were penetrating.

"Who's this?" The girl asked Bom.

"Oh! She's a transfer! A newbie! Her name is Arya Lee." Bom told her friend and she introduced her as well. "Arya, this is Chaerin. But she goes with the name CL now. She's my best friend."

"H-Hi, CL. Nice to meet you." I muttered and tried not to look nervous.

CL raised a corner of her lip and scoffed. "Is she coming with us? Does she know what she'll be getting into?" CL asked Bom. I looked at them slightly confused.

"Ah.. Stop it, CL. Don't scare our new friend. Yes she'll come with us. She doesn't know where to go and she's also a Junior." Bom answered her.

"Tss! Whatever. I hope she'd still come with us once she knows who we really are." CL muttered. "C'mon we'll be late for class. Off with your asses, let's go." She added and started walking ahead of us.

"Don't worry about CL, Arya. She looks tough but she's nice. She just doesn't trust people that easily. You'll know why eventually." Bom smiled at me and I nodded. "C'mon now." She held my hand and we walked together following CL up ahead.
