(The next day)

It was the morning and all the kids are walking into school. Snoopy, Charlie Brown's best friend and dog, is walking with Charlie Brown to school. "Snoopy, remember. You can't come into school. They don't allow dogs. I'll be home once it's over. Promise, buddy." Charlie Brown said to the beagle and he walks inside. Snoopy is upset that he didn't get to go in and decided to just wait outside and just nap throughout the whole day. In their way into the classroom, everyone is chit-chatting and waiting for their teacher. "Hey, Charlie Brown." Linus greeted. "Hey, Linus. Any sign of the new girl yet?" He asked his friend. "Not yet. I believe she will be introduced once Ms. Othmar arrives." Linus answered. "I can't wait to meet her." Charlie Brown said. "Meet who, Chuck?" Peppermint Patty asked him as she walks in. "We might be getting a new student in the class." Charlie Brown answered. "Wow. Is she a good athlete?" Patty asked. "No one knows anything about her." Charlie Brown answered again. And just on cue, Ms Othmar walks telling her to take their seats. "Yes, Ms. Othmar." The class said in unison and they took their seat.

Ms Othmar said that they have a new student joining our class and that their new classmate is from Germany. "Wow, Germany!" Linus exclaimed. "How fun!" Charlie Brown exclaimed as well. All the kids look at the door opens to see a little brunette hair, a red top, a black skirt and a yellow cardigan. She caught Schroeder's attention as he gazes at her from his desk. "She's very pretty." He said dreamily. The little girl stands in front of the class and introduce herself. "Hello. My name is Elise. My family and I moved from Germany and we hope to enjoy a new adventure here." She said in a German accent. Linus stands and speaks. "Welcome, Elise. I'm Linus and we are all very honored to have a new classmate and hopefully a new friend." Linus says to her. "Danke dir." She said in German. "Excuse me." Charlie Brown spoke as he raised his hand. "What does Danke dir mean?" He asked Elise politely. "It means thank you in my country." She answered. The teacher says to Elise thank you and she make take the desk in front of Schroeder.

Schroeder panicked and puts his book up in front of his face so Elise doesn't notice him. She then proceed to sit in front of him and class resumed. Their teacher tells Schroeder to put his book down. "Yes, ma'am." Schroeder then put his book down and they did learning. But Schroeder can't seem to focus as his eyes are focus on the dark-hair girl in from of him. Lucy notices it and starts to feel jealous. 'So, he's falling for this girl, huh? Well, no one is gonna take my man away from me.' She said in her thoughts. They heard the bell rings and the kids are dismissed for Recess. Schroeder stays behind as he watches Elise head out the classroom with their classmates and friends. He then sees Charlie Brown leaving, so he grabbed his hand and pull him aside.

"You got to help me, Charlie Brown." Schroeder tells him. "What's wrong, Schroeder?" Charlie Brown asked the young musician. "I have these weird feelings to the new girl, Elise. And I don't know how to approach her." Schroeder tells him. "Well, she is from Germany. And didn't Beethoven lived in Germany?" Charlie Brown asked. "Yes, he did. He was actually born in Germany but lived and died the rest of his life in Vienna." Schroeder explained. "Then why not talk to her about Beethoven? She might know some more knowledge about him and you both could start a conversation and maybe you can even ask her about life in Germany. To show you have an interest in her home country." Charlie Brown suggested to the young musician. "That's a great idea. Thank you, Charlie Brown." Schroeder thanked and went to go find Elise.
