It was a peaceful day in the neighborhood where a little blonde boy is playing his toy piano playing music from his favorite composer, Ludwig van Beethoven. He loves Beethoven and always talks about the German composer. This little boy is Schroeder. He always prefers playing this kind of music than any other composer or any other genre. He always wishes to not be disturbed while playing music. He prefers to get lost in the enchantment of Beethoven's music whether it's a symphony or a piano sonata, Schroeder always admires him and always has a Beethoven bust on his piano

Nothing makes him more happy until he was disturbed by a dark-haired girl with a blue dress. This is Lucy, a friend of his but has a huge crush on the young pianist. He looks up and sees her just staring at him. "You always fascinate me, Schroeder." She tells him. He lifts up his piano and she falls on the floor and resumes his playing. "Why do I even fall in love with a musician?" She asked herself. She gets up and leans on the small piano while listening to him play the piano. "Schroeder, do you think when you're older, you may not play Beethoven?" She asked him. He stops and says, "No. Not really. Hopefully by then, I'll be able to play Beethoven all over the world." She looks at him. "But that means we won't see each other more when we get married." She tells him. "Good grief." He said and resumes playing. Just then, Charlie Brown came running in panting. "What's wrong, Charlie Brown?" Lucy asked him. "We got a new kid moving into the neighborhood." He answered. They all run outside and they see a moving truck outside of a home across from Schroeder. "Wow, Schroeder. You must be lucky to meet the new kid before all of us." Charlie Brown tells him. "Yeah, I guess. I hope the new kid loves music." Schroeder comments. "Music. Schmusic. Maybe HE will be more interesting in my natural beauty and intelligence." Lucy said. "Actually, it's another little girl moving in." Charlie Brown said. "She's starting school tomorrow." He added. "Good grief. Just what we needed. Another girl in our school." Lucy snide commented and left the two boys. "Charlie Brown, do you have any idea what the new kid looks like?" Schroeder asked. "I don't know. I didn't get a good look at her. I'm sure she's pretty when we meet her tomorrow." Charlie Brown answered. "Oh, rats!" Schroeder said and went back into his house.

Lucy walked back to her home to see her brother, Linus, sucking on his thumb and holding his blanket. "You know, sooner or later, you're gonna have to let go of that stupid blanket." She says to her brother. "And when that day comes, I'll just keep it locked up and away from you, Linus." She also added. Linus opened his eyes wide and looked at her. "Lucy, you wouldn't do that would you?" Linus asked meekly. "Oh, I would." She said with a grinning smile. "Anyway, have you heard that a new kid moved into the neighborhood?" She asked her brother. "Yes. Charlie Brown told me and I said, 'I'll just meet the new kid at school tomorrow.' And so, we'll just meet her or him tomorrow." Linus answered. "Well, just a head's up, it is a girl." Lucy warned him. "Oh, good." Linus cheered. "I just hope she doesn't steal Schroeder's heart before I get the chance to do so." Lucy said to herself and she leaves the living room and Linus goes back to cuddling her blanket and sucking his thumb.
