I'll Never Forget You

The snow keeps on falling.

The Christmas song keeps on playing.

I never stop running, until I reached the end of the park.

The snow is still falling, and so does the tears.

There's no one here.....

Losing my strength and resolve, I finally fallen down to my knees. The facade is broken and I let out my cries to the air, droplet of tears marked the snowy white road.

"Yuu..... Yuu....."

I could only calls for his name softly, slowly, not wanting the world to hear me, but unable to keep quiet.

Sobbing heard through my breath and voice, even if I try to keep myself still.

The tears wouldn't stop coming, the memories wouldn't stop playing in my head.

The day when we first meet, long ago....

The day when we start going out together....

And the day when you finally told me that you love me...

All those days fading like the autumn leaves swept by the cold wind, leaving only trace of sepia.

Why all the happy days must end like this....?

Didn't you told me that we'll be together forever....?

All the promise.... Nothing matters anymore. Not when you couldn't remember them.

Just like dust, they disappear.

Our memories are like broken old portrait, abandoned and forgotten by time.

But.....

If you truly could be happy with him, then I'm okay.

What important is your own happiness, not mine.

You're my world, my light, my one and only love.... But if we're not fated together, then perhaps you'll be happier with him.

If he truly the one that you choose, that you loved, then shall be it.

Then please leave me be, if that could makes you happy.

I'm okay....

I can....

I can take this....

I rubs on my eyes, and my face felt warm. I must looks like a mess right now.

I stand back, still wiping my tears as I gather the fragment of my strength.

The Christmas song is still playing in the distant, and the colorful light of the city is still glowing ever so beautifully through the lake.

Ahh, that's right....

This is the lake....

The one beside the central park, near the bridge....

....The place where you first took me, on our first date.

Ahh, ironic.....

I've return back to the beginning where it all started.

Perhaps, in here too, it shall truly end.

A burial ground for our memory.

Facing on to the rail of fence that bordered the park with the lake, I gently hold the cold steel, and my eyes shut.

I still remember that day....

It was summer, two years ago, when we date in this park for the first time. We shared an ice cream together on the sunny day, we listened to music here and chat until the sun passed.
