Colby
I wake snuggled into the crook of Jake's neck, I move onto his chest and look up at him still passed out, I kiss his cheek, he smiles and puts his arm around me. "Jake, I'm hungry." I whisper, his eyes open a little, he gently pushes my head onto his chest. "Go back to sleep it's too early." He says, I look at the time. "It's literally 1:33...the sun has been up for like three hours now. " I say, he groans. "And what do I have to do? Photosynthesis?" He says, I laugh, he laughs too. "I have a swell choice." He says. "What's your swell choice?" I ask, he looks down at me. "You should go talk to Sam and then we'll eat, because you have too much energy for my well being right now." He says, he smile and roll my eyes. "I slept all day yesterday, I literally got 24 hours of sleep." I say, he shoves me away and laughs. "Then go talk to Sam I'll be up in like 15 minutes." He says, he kisses me and I put pants on, I then make my way to Sam's room. "Sam are you up?" I ask lowly from behind his door. "Yeah why?" He asks, I open the door, he looks away. "Come in." He says, I walk in and shut the door, I then sit down. "I'll start the conversation first...how the hell did my mirror break?" He asks, is he really mad about that? "I got extremely mad and I took it out on my reflection." I say. "Ok, second...are you and Jake a thing now?" He asks, my heart starts beating faster. "Yes, did he tell you?" I ask, I see tears start to swell up in his eyes. "No he didn't, but I can put two and two together." He says, I look down. "Are you mad at me for it?" I ask, he sniffles. "No I'm just really upset..I'm mean...it hurts to know that the guy I've been trying to date and failing at, the one who says he doesn't like to commit, is now dating my friend." He says, I didn't know this would hurt him so bad, I thought he was over me as much as I was over him. "I'm sorry, I thought you were over me." I say, he shakes his head. "When I said that we were done I expected you to come crawling back to me and we would've like....cuddled, but no....you just left me to cry and be alone for a week, it's almost been a month since our fight Colby, I needed you that day." He says, it sure didn't seem like it. "It seemed like you hated my guts, I was literally screaming for you to come back into the room but you didn't, why the hell would I go back to you?" I ask, he shrugs. "We were both upset and angry at the situation, I had just witnessed you cheating on me, and you had just seen me become a stressed out piece of shit." He says. "Honestly Sam, this whole week has been so lonely, even though I have Jake you're still my number one person and I miss you." I say, I feel myself start crying, he gets up and pulls me out of the chair into his arms. "I miss you too Colby." He says through tears, I start to get extremely choked up, I cry harder into his shoulder, we both cry and hug tighter. "This is my home." He says, we start to sway back and forth. "Mine too." I say, we look up into each other's teary eyes and smile. "I just want my best friend back, that's all, I don't care if you date Jake, I just want to hug you and explore with you." He says, I cry harder and snuggle into his shoulder. "I do too." I say, I feel his face touch my neck. "I don't think we've hugged this long since that prank." He says. "It's because we miss each other, you missed me a lot, and you did again, but you don't have to miss me for a third time because I'm staying here and never leaving you again." I say, he cries harder, I feel his tears slide down my shoulder, we look up at each other again. "I promise that I won't leave ever again, and I promise that I won't fight with you ever again...and I'll buy you a new mirror." I say, he laughs and continues hugging me. "Don't worry about the mirror, and I promise I won't leave or fight with you ever again either." He says, we stay hugging for a while until the door opens, we separate and look. "You guys ok?" Jake asks, we nod. "We're totally ok, and I approve of the relationship you don't have to hide it anymore." Sam says, Jake comes up to me and kisses me, Sam then pulls me back into his arms. "I'm gonna be clingy today, I need you here with me." He says. "We can share him I guess." Jake says jokingly. "I'm sorry to you too Jake, but I just really needed to talk to Colby." He says, Jake shrugs. "It's ok." He says, he then leaves the room as Sam and I continue hugging. "We're gonna be here for a while." I say, he nods. "I'm fine with it though." He says, I smile. "I am too." I say, we release our hug and lay in the bed, he then crawls into my arms again. "Can we cuddle?" He asks, I nod, he smiles and lays down on my chest, I wrap my arms around him tightly and we cuddle all day long, with no fights or tears, just pure love and friendship.
