chunhua could hear the rain outside as she woke up from yankai's lap, "where are we?", she asked as she stretched her limbs
yankai looked at his watch, "we're almost there i guess"
chunhua looked around the train and only noticed a few human beings around, maybe some of them are not really human but who cares she's not fully human as well
the train suddenly bolted faster as it went through a tunnel, nothing but darkness could be seen outside the train
a few minutes later, a sparkling blue dots could be seen floating outside as if it tells them that they are going to another dimension
when they are finally out of the tunnel, the train went back to its normal speed. the amazement is visible to chunhua's eyes as she roamed her eyes outside the train

as for yankai, he didn't find the surroundings amazing nor beautiful
chunhua gasped, "wow! so this is the place!"
yankai nodded, "it's the same as yanchen-ge had told me"
"yanchen knows where going here?" chunhua tilted her head, confused

"excuse me miss and mister?" a sweet voice from a lady was heard behind them which made them look back
chunhua and yankai waited for her to continue, "you two should move out now, we'll be coming back to Beijing"
"oh yes! we're sorry!" chunhua sighed before going out with yankai
a strange feeling was felt when they landed their feet at the soils of Santa Cecilia, as if an unknown soul has evolved inside of them

as for yankai, his hair become really black, the colors of his eyes changed from almond brown to reddish gold, his nails grew longer than usual and the color's black, he also acquired ears of an elf and a black coat with him
the lady from the train freaked out which led for everyone to hear, "THE CHOSEN ONE IS HERE!"
the people around were astonished to meet very important persons

murmurs were heard from the people in Santa Cecilia as they started bowing and kneeling infront of them

"HEY LOOK! THE CURSED ONE IS HERE AS WELL AND TOGETHER WITH THE CHOSEN ONE! HOW DARE YOU!", an old man shouted as he tried to pick up a stone to throw
"HOW DARE YOU COME WITH THE CHOSEN ONE!"
"YOU ARE UNWORTHY!"
"YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TOUCH HER!"
the screams led for yankai to lower his head as a tear escaped from his eye
chunhua tried to control the situation, "please calm down. we went here together, he didn't do anything wrong. we're friends!"
a young man asked, "how could a chosen one and a cursed one be friends? he must have corrupted your mind!"

they look very important based from their clothes, the man who looked like a fox bowed infront of them and introduced himself,
"good day, young lady. i am Li Xikan, the city mayor. i am pleased to meet you!"
chunhua and yankai bowed, "nice to meet you too!"
xikan introduced two more guys with him, "the taller one is Luo Zheng and the shorter one is Yu Mingjun"
mingjun smiled, "before we go at the palace, we will be delighted to invite you first at the blue house"
"blue house? why? we need to hurry at the palace or everything will be too late!" yankai complained as he dropped the bags on the floor
luo zheng frowned by the cursed one's attitude, "i'm pretty sure you're here for the purifying, right?"
chunhua nodded as xikan continued, "well, bad news. you can't do the ritual unless you already stayed here for two nights"
"so we don't have any choice but to stay here for more?" chunhua asked, frowning by the statement she heard
xikan nodded, "i'm sorry madam but that's the rules here. the cursed one will be unable to be purified well if it's not according to the rules"
"and there will be a possibilty that it will just make his situation worse" mingjun added
chunhua frowned as yankai put his arm around chunhua's shoulder, "don't worry, i can wait"
