39: A Talk With Taehee

                                    

                                          
<4 days before the 🅱️⭕️$$'s reveal>
Aeroon came into Miss A's room the day after she found out about Jungwoo's 🅱️0$$ contact.
"Miss A I have a question." Aeroon said.
"What is it?" She replied as she in sighing tone.
"Does Jungwoo know who the B❤️$$ is?"
Miss A stopped writing on her paper and froze, she looked up at Aeroon in low key sh0okness.
"Don't try to get the answer out of him, he's doing it tough already."
"Don't worry I was just wondering."
"Yes, he knows."
                          
<Day of Taehee's reveal>
While everybody was crowding the 🅱️⭕️$$'s office, Aeroon went to Miss A's office where Johnny was chatting with her happily.
"You're back Johnny." Aeroon said as her face lit up.
"Yes, good to see you again Aeroon." Johnny stood up, "I'm guessing you're here for Miss A, I'll be going now."
As soon as Johnny went out of the office, Aeroon threw a resignation letter on the desk, "I quit." She said in casual tone.
Miss A picked up the letter and looked at Aeroon, scoffing. It looked like Miss A already saw this coming. "I'm sorry but," Miss A handed the letter back to her, "If you want to kick yourself out, you gotta head up to the real deal."
                          
<at Taehee's Office>
There were 5 guards standing tall in front of the Taehee's office, not flinching from the employees begging to come in to her office. Taehee opened the door which u n l e a s h e d this invisible force and all the employees backed away from the doors.
"Get back to work everybody or else I'll fire all of you." She said in dead tone. Before she closed her door, she saw Aeroon in the crowd and told her to come in.
"Awww no fair how come she gets to come in???" An employee in the crowd shouted, but nobody responded.
"Have a seat Aeroon." Taehee said as she sat at her desk.
"You remembered my name?" Aeroon asked in shook tone.
"Of course, I know all my employees' names." Taehee said as she flipped through a file. 
Aeroon looked over to see her face on the file. "Heyyyyy, is that my resume?"
"Yes. I never read it, but Johnny told me you are overqualified for the job, just wanted to see if he was right."
"How can you say that so casually?"
"What's so unusual about it?"
"You're doubting that I'm a good employee."
"Shouldn't I though?"
Aeroon was silent for a moment, thinking back to those many days where all she did at work was watch nct videos.
"Jungwoo actually complained to me about you. Don't try so hard to hide the fact of you watching nct videos all day."
"HE WOT." Aeroon said in 'in gonna kill him soon' tone. "You're a lot meaner nowadays." She folded her arms and p o u t e d.
"I'll take that as a compliment." Taehee said u n p h a s e d.
"Do you even remember me???"
"Yeah. Wae."
"Why are you acting so casual around me? Aren't you supposed to be all excited to see your best friend from 2 years ago?"
"My gawd your resumé is horrific." Taehee said in disgusted tone, seeming to not hear Aeroon's question.
"UM EXOCUSE ME?" Aeroon suddenly had a flashback to the interview for the job with Johnny, and he chuckled a little when he said she was overqualified for the job. "Did Johnny lie to me when he said I was too good for the job?" Aeroon said in worried tone.
"No he didn't tell me anything, but before the interview I told him to be generous and just let her have the job no matter how bad her resumé is. I didn't think he'd have to lie so much lol."
"RO0D. Are you saying I'm just...average or what?"
"Not even. Every single employee here has at least one bachelor degree, you have none because you never finished your studies at Chogiwa University. So therefore you don't even meet the standards of working in one of the biggest companies in South Korea, aka this one."
"Oh." Aeroon didn't think she could compete with Taehee's argument so she sat still for a moment. "Wait a second, how did you know I didn't finish uni?"
"Jungwoo told me."
"Oh yeah. By the way, did you only accept me because I was your old friend?"
Taehee a different reason in her mind that involved Jungwoo *lenny face* but she agreed with Aeroon anyway. "Also," Aeroon said, "If every employee has a degree, Jungwoo has one right? I mean I highly doubt it but—"
Taehee interrupted her, "Yes he does."
"What?"
"Even though he was in uni for 5 months, he graduated c u z t h a t ' s how good he was."
"But that's impossible, you gotta be in uni for at l e a s t 2 years."
"But a n y t h i n g is possible."
Aeroon was hella confused how Jungwoo could be that smart.
"He also has a bachelor degree for Science." Taehee added.
"Eh? What for?"
"He said as a backup if his first plan doesn't go well."
"Backup?"
"He was thinking of becoming a detective."
"A detective?"
