Chapter 11- Battle begins

 To say the least, her theory wasn't wrong; at least not entirely. 
 Using a time freeze, Gohan and Krillin were suspended mid-air in an attempt to try and attack Guldo, sadly they were unable to move at all. 
 After punching and abusing them, Guldo prepared a huge tree trunk, sharpened to a point; he was planning on skewing them.

 It was at this point Sibella had felt the urge to step in, but before she could try, Guldo stopped, he held his attack as a sharp light slid through him.
 Everyone was surprised, Guldo's head cleanly slipped off his shoulders; his attack continued but Krillin and Gohan moved out the way in time. 
                          
Vegeta had intervened, saving their lives, surprisingly. 
 Sibella was taken back by his actions, from what she recalled, Vegeta only ever cared about his own well being. 

 "1 down, 4 to go" Sibella pondered.

 Despite Guldo's downfall, Recoome was not deterred, he would be fighting Vegeta; and he clearly couldn't wait. 

 Wasting no time, Vegeta exploded; he went after Recoome with such force and violence. 
 Vegeta's power was electric, so forceful and hard hitting; to a point where he smashed Recoome into a ledge several miles away.

 "My God" Sibella fluttered.

 Smoke and dust filled the surrounding area, swirling all over.
 Jeice and Burta backed up towards Sibella, slightly fearful and anxiously waiting for the dust to clear. 
 When it did everyone was in great shock.
 Recoome was a little beat up and bleeding, his armour gone and spandex torn, but it would seem that all those attacks did little damage.

 "Recoome's stronger than I thought" Sibella said.
 "Forget that, do you know how long it'll take me to wash this dust outta my hair?!" Jeice complained. 
 "Quit complaining, at least you have hair!" Burta responded. 

 Sibella rolled her eyes and brushed her hair back.
 There was a brief pause, but not long did Recoome retaliate with some hand to hand combat. But despite the fast flying and Ki blasts, it came to another brief halt as Recoome threw Vegeta into the water. 

"Come on Vegeta" Sibella whispered. 

 Silence fell once more as everyone watched the ripples settle on the water, did he drown or die?
 Not at all, he shot out like a bullet into Recoome's gut, but again did little damage; Recoome regained control he grabbed Vegeta and with intense speed hammered him head first into the ground.  
 Sibella gasped and covered her mouth in shock.
 Recoome pulled Vegeta out by his leg, but Vegeta used what little strength he could, and blasts Recoome in the face, causing him to drop him.

 Poor Vegeta. He was badly bruised and bleeding, he had taken quite a beating from Recoome. 
 Vegeta barely struggled to his feet while Recoome jumped up like nothing had happened, the Prince was low on power and was really struggling. 
 Recoome then stood in a ridiculous pose.

 "Looks like time for the grand finale" Jeice commented. 
 "You better take a last look at Vegeta, cause after this there won't be anything left" Burta added. 
 "Recoome, eraser gun!" Recoome exclaimed, firing an attack from his mouth.

 That very instant, Gohan and Krillin shot up and raced to the rescue.
 Krillin attacked Recoome diverting the attack, and Gohan grabbed Vegeta and flew him out the way. 
 The attack continued to destroy an entire island, erupting the place. 
 Vegeta was safe, but now they were all in danger. Recoome pushed himself off the floor and turned his attention to Krillin.

 "Hey Jeice, Burta, how about you guys let me kill this one too, whatta say, yeah, no?" Recoome shouted. 

 "Well guess you owe him one" Jeice said. 
 "Alright, you've got yourself a deal, but as soon as we get home, you're treating us to lunch for week!" Burta ordered.
 "Yeah, yeah" Recoome called.

 With one violent kick, Recoome caused poor Krillin to fall onto the ground, unable to move.
 Then brave little Gohan ran to his friends' side. 

 "No, you've got to hang on, you cant give up, just hang on Krillin" Gohan pleaded. 
 "Please save yourself while you can" Krillin barely uttered.

 Gohan started to become enraged.

 "You stay away, I'm not gong let you hurt my friend anymore!" he screamed. 
 "Is that so?!" Recoome laughed.

 Sibella turned her attention to Gohan, it was strange but there was a look in his eyes that appeared familiar. 
 The young warrior bravely began walking closer to Recoome. 

 Gohan powered up and attempted a direct attack but it failed. 
 The battle was short, Gohan put up quite a fight. But Recoome had punched and kicked the poor boy within an inch of his life.
 His little body lay bleeding on the floor, he was barely alive. 
 Recoome walked over to Gohan planning to deliver the final blow.

 "I can't take anymore!" Sibella exclaimed.
