Cabir was sitting on the living room watching football when he heard voices outside.
He gets up curious and makes his way to the door but stops seeing mukti and Nandini walking inside.
"Choti, mukti you are early.",Cabir said walking towards them.
Both smiled at them.
Nandini gave him a hug.
"We wanted to surprise you.",Nandini said and cabir smiled kissing her forehead.
"you could have called the driver, it's late to travel alone.",cabir scolded them hugging mukti now.
"We were fine.",Mukti said him tired.
"What's wrong?, You don't look okay.",he asked looking at mukti.
"She hasn't slept properly for days and has a terrible headache. I asked her to have medicines but she doesn't listen to me.",Nandini complains and cabir glares at mukti.
"Does Manik know about this?",Cabir asked mukti.
She nods in no and gives him an innocent smile.
"Where is he?",Nandini asks him looking around.
"Not happy to meet your brother.", Cabir tease her and she nods in no.
"I am happy, I was just asking.",Nandini said slowly.
Cabir and Mukti chuckle and Nandini looks down embarrassed.
"He is at the backyard. you go to meet him, I will go with mukti and give her some medicines.", cabir said and Nandini nods.
"Don't tell bhai I am not well, tell him I am tired and taking rest, I will deal with him tomorrow.", Mukti said and she nods.
"Let's take you to bed.",Cabir said and they moved upstairs.
Nandini walks near her bag at the end of the hall and takes out a box out of it. She moves to the kitchen and quickly makes coffee for them. She takes out two cups from the box and pours coffee in it. A black mug for Manik which has a quote "Happiness is drinking coffee with you." and another black mug for her with a quote "Life is better when you're happy."
She picks them up and walks to the backyard. She hears the guitar and smiles to herself as the tune seemed familiar.
She slowly walks near and sees him sitting on the bench with his back facing her.
Mmmm...hmmmm...
