For the first time in a few hours Logan glanced away from his book, looking to the bookmark resting on a side table beside of the couch he was sitting on and using it to mark his place. He was just about to begin reading a new chapter when it had occurred to him that he hadn't seen his boyfriend, Roman, since they had both gotten up earlier that morning. It was now around 12:00, and Logan had no idea where he was. Setting his book down he slowly rose from his spot on the couch, stretching out and sighing before he started off towards their shared bedroom to look for him.

He wasn't in their bedroom working on some new project, as Logan expected he might be. Becoming a little concerned, Logan decided to check all off the rooms of their house, hoping to see him in one of them. When he couldn't find him in a single area of the house, and Roman didn't pick up the phone when he attempted to call him, Logan definitely felt worried.

He was standing in their kitchen as he called Roman for the third time, double checking the rooms in case he may have missed him somewhere. He muttered a quiet and useless threat that Roman couldn't even hear about what he would do if he didn't pick up, and just as he was in the middle of his sentence he happened to glance out of their kitchen window into their backyard.

Logan had honestly already forgotten about the snow that had started falling early that morning, before the two of them had even gotten up. It was still falling now, piled up a lot higher than it had been the last time he had looked out the window as Roman had pointed the snow out to him. The snow had been fresh and untouched then, not a single foot print made, but that was not the case now. The entire backyard was filled with prints from Roman's boots now, along with a large group of snowmen, and Roman himself creating the base for yet another snowman.

Logan let out a sigh of relief at seeing that he was okay, feeling a little silly for overreacting so much now. Roman was fine, and Logan really should have expected this. He should have known the moment Roman pointed out the snow to him that he was planning to go out in it. Finally forgetting his worry Logan made his way to their backdoor, grabbing a jacket from the closet on his way there. He tugged it on as he opened the door, shivering at the significant drop in temperature. He knew Roman had probably been out here the entire time he was reading, so surely he was freezing by now. He needed to come inside and get warmed up, so that he didn't get sick.

As Logan approached him, Roman turned around, hearing the familiar crunch of snow beneath his feet as he walked over. He smiled at him, cheeks and nose a pale pink from the cold. At least he was dressed appropriately, Logan noted, seeing the large winter coat, earmuffs, and scarf that he wore. "Greetings, my love! Have you come to join me in building this family of snowmen?"

"No, I have not." Logan shook his head, looking at Roman seriously. "I came to tell you that you need to come in."

"Come in?" Roman frowned, looking back to the snowman he was building. "But I haven't even been out here for that long!"

"You've been out here for hours, Roman. Aren't you cold by now?" Logan asked, reaching out to touch his cheek, the only skin not covered in clothing. Logan drew his hand back almost immediately, and Roman missed the warmth. Maybe he was a little too cold.

"You're freezing!" Logan said, reaching out to take Roman's hand. "Please come inside with me. I do not want you to become sick from staying out here too long."
