It was a few hours before the ball Sarah had whisked Lexie and Natasha to get their hair done. Lexie did a low side pony tail with lots of curls and when she got back she started to do her make up. Bucky came in and said "You okay?'
"Yeah..do you like my hair?' she said
"I love it. But I always love the curls darlin. Anyways help.." he said as he held up his tie.
She tied his tie for him "Thanks doll baby." he said
She slipped on her dress "James.. zip me?'
"Yeah darlin." he said as he came and zipped it up.
"Wow baby doll. This dress is gorgeous." he said as he got a full view after they left the bathroom.
"Thank you." she said
She slipped on her heels put in her diamond studs. "Darlin I um I got you something. It's the reason why I asked what color your dress was."
"James you didn't have to get me anything." she said
"I know but I did." he said
He opened up a ring box and took her hand and slid a blue sapphire and diamond ring on her middle finger.
"Oh dear god James Buchanan this is gorgeous." she said
He smiled and said "I knew you would love it."
"Let's go to the ball my gorgeous date." he said with a big grin.
A car picked them up and took them to the venue of the ball.
