STEF POV

"Mom please be nice. Please." Jude said to me  for the 100th time since he had finally invited Olivia over after almost two months of them dating. Whatever it was he was nervous about it as I tried to tell him a millions time that I would be nice. Unless I totally disapproved of her which was unlikely since Lena met her and seemed to like her. Still I had to make my own assessment considering this was my first born baby and the only real girlfriend Jude ever brought around. Sure he had liked a few in his teen years which I questioned but thankfully they never panned out.

"You said that 1000 times. I have no reason not to be nice Jude. Unless she is some trashy skank which I doubt she is so relax."

"Well could you not say anything inappropriate."

"Like what? When have I been know to say something inappropriate?"

"Serious mom? Is that a serious question? When don't you say something inappropriate?" He said in a panicked tone and I took another sip of my coffee.

"Baby it will be fine. Ok?" Lena chimed in as I rolled my eyes taking a seat at the table. "Mom will be on her best behavior. Right baby?"

"Yes. For the millionth time I will be. Jesus, do you want me to sign something or what?" I mumbled looking over at Noah and baby Stef who were playing.

"And she will be nice right Mama Lion?"

"What is with you two? Am I not nice or something. Frankie I'm nice right?"

"Um sure mama." She said hesitating and looking up from her cereal.

"Yeah you took too damm long to answer. Where is Callie she would have my back."

"We have your back honey. You can be very nice and very sweet. Hey you got me."

"Yeah I did Mama Lion. Get your ass over here. " Grabbing her hand and pulling her on my lap I could only wink at her as she leaned in kissing my lips."See I'm nice. MM?"

"Yes you are baby." She said grinning and stroking my cheek.

"Jez could you guys not do that. Ma, come on."

"Jude you are such a prude." Frankie said as I couldn't help but kiss my wife again.

"Me? I'm not a prude. Sorry we can't all be like you who was all over her girlfriend."

"Shut up."

"What?I'm sorry what girlfriend were you all over?" I asked now looking straight at my daughter who has guilt written all over her face. Again.

"Her and that new girl. What's her name again? She was just as bad as you mom."

"Jude shut up. We didn't do anything."

"Ok. Jude leave her alone. Ok?" Lena said as my eyes didn't leave Frankie for did she have another girl she liked that I once again didn't know about. Shit if she wasn't like me then I didn't know who was and it was going to continue to make me lose my fucking mind. Why couldn't this girl just talk to me like she use to. We had our moments but they just weren't consistent.

"Is there something you would like to tell me Frankie? Huh? Something you wanna tell me and Mama Lion?"

"No it's nothing mama. And I don't like anyone."

"Yeah that's what you said last time. Who is she?"

"It's no one mama. I don't  like anyone and I wasn't all over anyone."

"That's not what I saw." Jude said laughing as my eyes went back to Frankie.

"Ok we will talk about his later. Ok? Not here and not right now. Ok Frankie? Stef? It's not the time nor the place."

"Sure babe. But if you are lying to me again Francesa Violet lord help you." Narrowing my eyes she continued to look at me letting out a sigh as I felt my wife grab my hand.

"Babe. Not now. We will handle this later today."

"Oh you bet we will." And we damm sure would  because if it was one person who was making me gray faster then anyone it was Frankie. It seemed almost like payback for how crazy I was growing up despite the lack of supervision I had. She had supervision, and she had monitoring but it seemed I needed to watch her 24/7 and skip work all together. Maybe in a perfect world I could but in this one it was impossible as we soon heard the doorbell ring and I saw my son instantly grow even more nervous. Sure it was cute as I watched him walk over to the door and open it rather slowly letting her in. But I almost fainted. And I might have fainted had I not been sitting down for she was the spitting image of my wife. She looked just like Lena.

-------------------

"These are my mom's." Jude said as the two walked over to both his mothers at the kitchen table.

"Of course I remember meeting you Mrs. Adams Foster. It's so nice to see you again." Olivia said to Lena as she smiled wide shaking the woman's hand. Lena could only smile back and pull the young girl in for a hug.

"It's wonderful to see you again honey. How is school?"

"Tough but good. I love it."

"I'm sure and I'm sure you will do well."

"Thanks so much."

"And um this is my mom. Mom this is Olivia."  Jude said nervously looking at the blonde who could only smile. In her eyes the girl seemed very sweet and polite which was already a plus in her book.

"Hi it's really nice to meet you Mrs. Adams Foster. I've heard so much about you."

"Yeah? Good stuff?" The blonde teased as the girl let out a laugh.

"Yes many good things."

"Well it's nice meeting you too honey. Have a seat sweetheart."

"Thanks. I like your home it's really cozy."

"Aww thanks. That's compliments of my wife." Stef winked as Lena let out a shy smile."So tell me love my son has you smitten or what?"

"Ma! Really?"

"What babe it was a simple question. She knows that. It's not like I asked if you two are having sex which if you are I hope you are using condoms. And if you need any I can give you more."

"Ma we don't and oh my god." Jude said looking more embarrassed then ever as Lena tried so hard not to laugh. Olivia herself was rather embarrassed but wanted to be honest as she looked Stef dead in the face.

"We would use them. We promise. I mean when the time is right."

"Well that is good to know and I hope when the time is right my son is a gentleman."

"Mom please stop talking. Mama Lion please help."

"Babe." Lena said glancing to her wife softly as the blonde smiled at her. "So education is a great major Olivia."

"Yeah it really is plus it can go into so many things."

With that Lena successfully changed the subject as Stef observed the entire thing while holding her wife's hand. She could also see from where she was sitting how Jude was holding Olivia's hand as she spoke more polite then ever and intellectually. She too had traveled to Europe just like Lena and had dreams of teaching abroad. Stef couldn't be happier with the girl Jude had picked and was grateful she wasn't like her. Far from it for unlike Stef in her late teens this girl had her head together and was going to go far and she could only hope the same for all of her kids. But would that be the reality?
