A/N: sorry that its not an xreader y'all!! I just thought that I should at least post something, and I already had this written. I've been focusing on school a lot more than usual.

Sammy sat at his desk, placing down a few more notes. God, he was tired- he rubbed his eyes, blinking sleepily. His thoughts turned to Norman, and he relaxed.

Norman was a comfort to him. He was a tall, slender man who carried with him a strangely comforting scent of smoke and cologne. His hands were rough with burn scars from projector fires, and his eyes- though one was cloudy with lack of sight- were soft and kind, yet were sharp and quick to see things that others didn't. He was certainly intelligent, and Sammy was surprised that he settled on merely working as a projectionist.

But that allowed him to be near the man, so he couldn't complain. His fingers drummed quietly on his desk as he glanced back at the open door of his office, allowing the soft bustle of the people outside to enter. It calmed him, helping to ease his worries about not getting the song done on time.

Sammy momentarily wondered if Norman knew about his crush on him. He did claim that he saw everything... Sammy shook his head. There was no way he could know about it...

His eyelids began to droop, and he felt his mind go cloudy. Before long, he was slumped over his desk, fast asleep.

Norman exited his booth, turning his gaze over to Sammy's office.

Sammy had thought that Norman didn't know of his crush. But he knew. The way Sammy's eyes lit up when he walked into the room, how his gaze lingered on him for just a bit too long...

He sighed softly. Pulling his jacket off,his gaze soon returned to Sammy's office. Even if he was going to stay after hours, he usually stepped out to send people on their way.

Making his way over to the office, Norman ducked through the doorway. "Sammy?" he called, his eyes landing on the sleeping man.

Ah. A soft smile lit up his face as he walked over to Sammy, peering down at him. Sammy was resting his face on one of his arms, causing his face to be a bit scrunched up. Cute.

Norman examined him for a few moments before quietly slipping off his coat, laying it over Sammy's shoulders. He didn't need it anyways.

He nearly turned to leave, but paused for a moment. His gaze returned to Sammy. Leaning over him, Norman pressed a gentle kiss to his temple.

"Goodnight Sammy," he murmured softly, standing up straight before leaving the room, heading towards the exit. Sammy was still for a few moments longer before sitting up, a deep red dusting his face.
