Nick Valentine
Fallout 4
Warning: Cursing, ViolenceI put a hand on the glass, a small smile on my lips, "Hey there, Nicky, how ya been?"
He chuckled, putting his metal hand equal to mine through thick glass. He put his other thumb on a small speaker, his voice coming through scratchy, "Oh, fine. Just idling my time and stealing Skinny's girl. You know how it goes, I'm sure."
I blushed, my eye twitching, "You... what? Hold on and let me get you out of there." After unlocking the terminal, I watched as the doors slid open. As soon as I could fit through, I did, hopping onto Nick and wrapping my arms around him. His rested his hands on my hips, giving me a quick kiss before looking outside the door and getting out a revolver he managed to get ahold of. I frowned, "Where'd you get that bad boy?"
He looked it over, "Skinny Malone's new fling got it for me. Pretty sweet isn't it? The gun."
I scowled, "Sure. You know, I don't feel too comfortable with you doin--"
"Hold that thought. I hear some of them coming. Get ready."
We made our way down halls, hiding behind boxes, shooting folks between the peepers, and making snide remarks as we went. I laughed at something he said as we entered a final room, with a Vault Entrance making up the furthest wall. I saw a hefty man and a bunch of bodyguards. Then I noticed a girl in a dazzling red dress that showed off her... 'well-developed chest'. I frowned again, glancing at Nick, who was looking at the gentleman.
They went into conversation, and I couldn't help but notice the woman look Nick up and down. I narrowed my eyes at her, and she caught my glance, frowning at me, darting her eyes to Nick, then smirking. I pretended to scratch my forearm with the nozzle of my gun, pointing it at her afterwards, but not so openly as to draw attention. She gripped her baseball bat with white knuckles, making me smile a bit. What were the odds she was gonna deflect my bullets with a hunk of wood. She suddenly was all over Skinny Malone, her voice whiny, "Awh, come on, Skinny, why can't we just let the handsome guy go? We can just pretend like this ain't ever happened!"
The man thought about it, and eventually agreed, walking past us and bumping shoulders roughly with Nick. The woman stayed behind, and Nick smiled, tipping his hat, "Thanks, doll. You best get along now before Skinny thinks I'm up to something."
Her voice changed, "Do you want to get up to something?"
I felt my hand grip my gun harder before I finally just shot her. It wasn't in the head or anything. Just a good enough shot to graze her arm. She yelped, looking to me, "What the fuck?!"
I pointed to the door with my gun, "Get the fuck out of her before I color these walls with your blood." Whining, she left, bawling for Skinny Malone to come fix her up. I heard the door lock behind her. Nick looked to me with raised brows, "You really don't mess around, huh, doll?"
"I know synths are people, Nick," I smiled, winking, "But you're still my property."
