Harry couldn't stand it at the Burrow for the weeks that followed. The way that everyone from the Order looked at him was unbearable. He spent a lot of time with Ron and Hermione out in the back garden because they were the only ones that treated him like normal. In the beginning, Hermione attempted to change Harry's mind, to help him get over his loss, but every time Harry shut her down. He couldn't come to any conclusions without talking to Draco.

At the end of the first two weeks, he needed to get out of there, find Draco, and talk to him. He needed help, however, making a plan to go see him. He knew Hermione would know what to do.

"Harry you're crazy I am not helping you talk to your crazy death eater ex-boyfriend." He was not expecting this response.

"Ex-boyfriend? We haven't really talked about breaking up so my guess is that we're still together," he said.

she shook her head and grabbed his hand taking him further away from the house. Ron, who was also with them, followed obediently. He and Hermione had not left each other's side since they had gotten to the Burrow.

"Listen, that's not how that works. You can tell if someone has broken up you without them explicitly telling you that you've broken up. Heres an example, he starts working with the wizards that want to kill you!" Hermione shook him by the shoulders.

He brushed her off, " He told you where to find me so that you could save me. He doesn't want to be doing what he's doing, he just wants to stay alive."

They didn't seem to believe him. But he needed their help so he kept trying to explain to them, "I really need your help to clear things up. I need to talk to him. You guys need to talk to him with me. He's not a bad guy, he's just got on other choices."

"Harry, I really don't want to do this, but you're my friend so I'll help you," Hermione said. Ron nodded along but Harry could tell he hated the idea.

"Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it. You'll see that he's really not a bad guy," Harry was sure of it. He knew Draco, and he could make a pretty good guess at his intentions.

They made a plan that night to leave and go back to Malfoy Manor. They had no idea if he was going to be there and they had no way of knowing but they were going to chance it.

Harry brought is invisibility cloke just in case he would need it and they apparated to Malfoy Manor. It was dark in the front lawn but it looked like every light in the house was lit. Harry moved to get closer but he felt Hermione's hand on the crook of his arm, pulling him back.

"You must be careful," She said. "remember that these people are trying to kill you."

"How could I forget," He mumbled before moving out of Hermione's grip.

He crept forward with Ron and Hermione not far behind him. He inched to the side of the house, looking in every window on the ground floor, he did not know which room was Draco's but he guessed it was not on the bottom floor.

He found the kitchen window and spent a few minutes there, watching as the death eaters came and went. He knew for sure that Draco would go into the kitchen sooner or later, he just hoped that he alone when he did enter.

"It's no use, Harry. Let's go," Ron started.

"Wait, one sec," Harry said. He had seen Draco walk past the doorway into the kitchen. He was home.

He waited a little longer, waiting for him to pass again so he could sneak another peak.

The next Draco passed he entered fully into the kitchen with his mother. They spoke for a second and his mother left, leaving him alone. This was the moment that Harry had waited for. He knocked on the window and Draco's head turned right away, locking eyes with the boy through the window. If Draco was happy to see him he did not show it.

He walked over to the window, looking over his shoulder, making sure no one had heard Harry's knocking. He grabbed the bottom of it and slid it up a few inches.

"Harry, what are you doing back here?"

"Draco, I needed to talk to you," Harry wished he'd open the window more, maybe sneak out and come outside with him.

"There is nothing we have to talk about," Draco said sternly. He talked quietly and kept looking over his shoulder at the doorway. "If you get caught they will kill you."

"I'm willing to take that risk, Draco, I wanted to see you. And I wanted to talk about what happened."

"What happened was I delivered you to the Dark Lord because I am a Death Eater now."

Harry couldn't tell what Draco was actually thinking, but he wanted to be someplace where they could speak without worrying about being caught.

"Draco," He said his name again, "Come outside, surely they won't notice if you're gone for a few minutes. It'll be easier."

Draco took one more glance over his shoulder before thrusting the window all the way open and taking his body through it. Once outside he closed the window slowly.

They walked a ways away from the house Draco, who only had one layer of clothing, was shivering. Ron and Hermione followed, subconsciously holding their wands, ready to strike.

"Draco, I forgive you," Harry started, "you saved my life and I know that you didn't want to give me to Voldemort."

"You don't know my intentions." Draco rolled his eyes, "Yes I did get to them to save you, only to make it look like I was the one who did it. But don't think for one second that I would save you myself."

Harry looked at him solemnly, "Draco?"

"No, don't. You have to understand where I am, I am a Malfoy. I am a Death Eater, I have the mark." He lifted his sleeve to reveal the mark, "I can't just back away from this, I will be killed. I'm not risking my own life for you Potter. I-I just can't. I was stupid to think that I actually liked you. Sure we had our thing but it's over now, we are on two different sides of the war and you need to get that through your thick skull."

Draco turned to leave but Harry grabbed his arm, "You can't actually think that after everything that's happened. We can help you get out of this before it's too late."

Draco pulled away harshly, "you can't help me, even if I wanted help."

I took everything in him to not go after him as he walked back to the kitchen window. He looked away before he could see him go back inside. Ron and Hermione stood with him, guiding him away from Malfoy Manor.

When they were far enough away to not be seen Harry released the tears that he was holding in.

"What the hell is his problem?" Harry yelled this, not aimed toward anyone, just trying to get rid of some of his emotions.

"Harry," Hermione said as soothingly as she could.

"No, I don't want to hear it. Dumbledore said he liked me back, you were there, so what is he playing at?" Harry was still filled with rage, tears kept forming in the corners of his eyes but they were more from anger than from sadness.

Ron and Hermione let him rage for a few minutes before trying again to calm him.

"I know it hurts but there is nothing you can do, he doesn't want your help."

It was clear, however, that he was not listening.

"I can't believe him," Harry shook. "What am I supposed to do now?"
