Jade's pov

"Oi Jade, what took you so long? I thought you changed your mind", Leigh said irritably. I just chuckled. Leigh drove her car to the nearest grocery store. I want to tell Leigh about Perrie, maybe she can give  me some advice.

"Leigh, I want to tell you about something ...", I said doubtfully. Leigh glanced at me then turned her head back to the road.

"What about Jade? You know you can trust me," she said convincingly.

"About Perrie ...", I said quietly.

"The homeless girl huh? What about her?", Leigh asked.

I looked at her puzzled, "how do you know about her?".

"Jesy told me so just tell me about this girl already", she said.

I groaned, "God Jesy and her big mouth".
But then I told Leigh everything about what happened this morning and at the end of the story, she just saw me with a look of disbelief.

"Are you an idiot, Jade?!," she said in disbelief and I frowned at her "I need your opinion, your advice instead of you screaming and teasing me", I said a little annoyed.

She looked at me and spoke softly, "Jade she still needs time, maybe there is something she doesn't want you to know yet, at least not now, give her time and if possible try to make her believe in you, but don't force her".

Leigh's words spin in my head. But I'm still a little disappointed about Perrie's attitude.

"But she should have trusted me, I won't hurt her instead I helped her," I said frustrated.

Leigh parked the car outside the grocery store then looked at me, "Jade ever heard the quote about 'action speaks louder than words'? Some people are quite fed up with the promises other's made because in reality they don't act as they promised. There are things that make her traumatized and we don't know what it is, you have to respect it, even though you have helped her, respect her", Leigh said sternly.

I just sigh heard her comment, but it is also true what Leigh said. I didn't realize that I was still in the car until Leigh tapped my window. "Oi jade are you coming or not?", she said annoyed. I got out of the car and then Leigh locked the car.

Perrie's pov

I heard the door close indicating that Jade had left the flat. I waited for the next 5 minutes to make sure Jade really left. After 5 minutes there was no sign of Jade returning, I took out the sonogram I had hidden. I looked carefully and suddenly my tears rolled down my cheeks. 'how can I take care of this baby alone? I don't know what Jade's reaction would be if Jade knew that I am pregnant. I don't know what to do if Jade kicked me out of her flat. That means I have to go back to the streets and I'm terrified, what if something happens to my baby', those things keep running on my mind while I put my hand on my 'that soon will be noticeable' belly. I laid on the couch crying and fell asleep.

In the grocery store, Jade looks at her shopping notes and starts taking the items she needs to buy. When she take a gallon of milk, someone bumps into her and makes her drop the gallon then the milk spills onto the floor and some on her clothes. Jade was upset and saw who had bumped her. A man with raven hair looks at her with a guilty face.

"I am so sorry it was an accident," he said.

Jade just waved it off, "it's okay but be careful next time", she said half a smile to him but then a woman appeared and looked at Jade and the man, then she approached the man.

"Babe what happened?", the woman asked the man and eyed Jade with a cynical look. Jade just rolled her eyes, 'what a b.itch' she thought.

"I have to go", Jade said finally wanted to go away from the couple. Jade took another gallon of milk and walked away.
