-thursday-
The bandage was still on your hand. Not as big as before but when the blood finally stopped you could use a smaller bandage. But it was big enough to get in the way of your tosses. Morning practice hadn't gone too well. You couldn't serve or spike correctly. Which caused you to be frustrated and angry.
That's all you thought about in your classes.
"(y/n)." Your sensei said out loud grasping your attention.
"Oh yes?" You look back at her.
"I asked you a question." She angrily says. The subject you were on was out of your interest because you already knew most of it. You look towards the board and see the discussion.
"The largest internal organ is the liver, weighing around 1.3 kilograms." You say. Iwa-Chan looks at you and smiles.
"Very well. I'm glad you were paying attention." She turns around and continues to write on the board. You lay your head down on the desk and smile. A hand pats your back and you look up at him.
"You've managed to do this five times. You're not paying attention and the teacher calls on you and suddenly you can have the right answer." He whispered at you and laughed.
"I'm not completely zoned out. I can multitask." You laugh.
"Your hand still hurt?" He looks over at you.
"Not as much as it used to. I can probably take the bandage off today or tomorrow. The Spring Tournaments are coming up soon and the coach allowed me to arrange a practice match with Nekoma and later we're going to Fukudorani. I just want this dumb bandage to get off so I can practice better."
"You should still take care of it." He says writing down whatever the teacher is.
"I know but I can't practice." You say resting your head on your hand.
"Focus on your health."
"Iwaizume. (y/n). Stop talking we're in the middle of class." Other students chuckled when the attention was brought to both of you. You glare back at them and sink yourself into the chair.
"That was really unnecessary." You look at him. "Wake me up when class is over." You lay your head down on the desk again and close your eyes.
Not long after you hear the bell ring and you grunt. "Oh come on that was like 10 seconds."
"More like 10 minutes." Iwa-Chan grabs your things and pushes you out of the classroom.
"Where's Oikawa?" You look around not seeing the exciting brunette anywhere.
"I heard he had a test. Probably just finishing it up."
"We should go wait for him." You stop him and turn back the other way.
"You're not scared his fangirls are going to attack you?"
"Ok never mind let's just go to the bathroom in front of his class. I want to take this off." You point to the bandage on your hand and wiggle it off. He laughs and walks to the bathroom with you. You enter and he waits outside.
You got to the mirror and begin to unwrap the bandage to check how your injury is going. In the process, two girls enter and see you there. "Hi, (y/n)-san." You wave at them smiling not wanting to talk. "We heard the third years are going to stay in the volleyball team. Is that true?"
"Yea." The bandage was completely off now and the scar had gotten more visible. But it looked like your hand was healed.
"I didn't go to the match but didn't your old team almost beat you? Karasuno was it?"
