You huff as you placed one of the last two boxes down on the floor, Jensen put the last box right beside it before slinging an arm over your shoulders and looking down at you with a smile.  He just stares at you for a few minutes without saying anything until eventually you crack under his gaze, “what?” you giggle peering up at him with a questioning gaze.

He shakes his head before answering, “I was just thinking about how amazing it will be to see you everyday I’m not at work.”

Grinning you turn and wrap your arms around Jensen’s waist before placing a kiss on his chest and peering up at him, “I can’t wait to wake up to your face every morning.”

Jensen doesn’t reply when you say this, instead his grin grows before he leans down and connects his lips to yours  in a slow but passionate kiss that leads to nowhere. When you both separate you stare at each other until you remember the boxes sitting throughout the house demanding to be put away. You both go through each box putting them in there required spots causing the house to look slightly less bare then it was when you first seen it two weeks before, though it still demanded a more at lived in feel to be added to it.

Once you had a majority of your items unpacked from the boxes you and Jensen slumped into the couch and flipped on the tv just enjoying the others company in comfortable silence. The next day you both finished unpacking and went out for dinner at a quite little restaurant that Jensen insisted he take you to at least once before he left to go back to work the next week. The rest of your first week there was spent at different home and DIY stores picking up different things for the house to decorate it just like Jensen had said when he asked you to move in. You both spent the majority of the time you were together decorating laughing and joking around more than anything else though you weren’t going to complain, you smiled so much your cheeks hurt.

Then your two weeks were up and he had to leave, a part of you almost wanted to beg for him to stay but you knew you’d see him soon enough so you didn’t say anything besides I love you when you dropped him off at the airport sunday morning. You headed back home after watching him disappear into the airport  determined to finish off the rest of the house and find a job by the end of the week. Even though it was only Sunday you decided it was beest to start the moment you got home and that was exactly what you did. You spent the rest of your morning hanging the pictures you and Jensen wanted of your families as well as adding a few quotes in bare spots.  By the the afternoon you were so wrapped up in the house that the knock at the door startled you. Putting up the last photo you had in your hands you made your way over to the door and pulled it open to be met with Gen and the two boys standing on the other side. You were shocked that she was standing there because you didn’t even know if Jensen told anyone about the move.

“Hi,” you say cheerfully with a smile before stepping aside and opening the door wider for them to enter, “please, come in.”

Gen returns your smile as she follows the boys through the entrance of the house, “I know this is unexpected but, I know the Jensen left today and you’re new here so I thought I’d swing by and keep you company today.”

“That sounds great actually,” you reply with a nervous chuckle, “I was getting into decorating the house way too much.”

When Gen heard this she laughed herself as you both made your way through the house following the two boys with smiles on our faces. You spent a majority of the day together and even went out to lunch, by the end of the day Gen told you about a little store in town that was hiring and you felt like you were both closer because of all of it.

The next day you applied to the store Gen told you about and went back to the house to finish off the last few parts of the house you forgot the day before. Once you were done with what you had to do you sat on the couch in front of the tv to relax the rest of the day and wait for Jensen to call you when he has the chance to. As you sat there flicking through the channels there was a knock at your door causing you to rise to your feet confused and walk towards the door, you knew it wasn’t Gen because you weren’t due to hang out again until tomorrow. Pulling open the door you were met with none other than Danneel.

You freeze with one hand holding the door cracked open enough for you to see each other, “Danneel, hi,” you say quietly after a minute of silence.

“Hi, she replies with a smile, “can we talk?”

Silently you nod and open the door for her to enter the house, once it’s closed behind her you silently lead her down the hall and to the kitchen. Once there you pour the both of you a glass of wine and sit at the island, “okay what do we need to talk about?”
