A WEEK THAT WAS HOW LONG ELIZABETH STAYED in the hospital with her mother who had over six surgeries done already and she hadn't waken up. she had no idea her friends had stopped at her house and they all thought she had disappeared. elizabeth was just too upset to talk to anyone.
a small cry left the girl lips, as she let her sobs control. her breath was shaken, and her throat her hurt from all the crying she had done. her eyes had become red and puffy, from her tears that fell every hour or so.
she didn't know what to live for anymore, of course it came a surprise to her when she had found her mother on the bathroom floor. knowing it wasn't suicide she began to look around finding a note, from someone.
elizabeth's mind instantly went to her father and how he said that she'd be sorry but why her mother? why not someone else?
that was why she couldn't understand, did her father not ever care for her mother? if so then why stay with her? and if not then why kill you're loved one?
what was she supposed to do? how could she handle this? her mother had always cared for her, took care of her.
"miss jean?"
"that's me." elizabeth's hand shot up quickly walking towards the doctor, her breathing picked up.
"so, we have found out that your mother is fine, but she is in a coma?" the doctor explained.
"how long?"
"we aren't quite sure, it might be days, weeks, months, years even."
elizabeth's eyes widened, a tear falling down her cheek.
"i suggest that you go home for the day of course."
the suggestion made elizabeth wonder if they were trying to help her move on that her mother might not wake up, or that they were just trying to help her.

her chocolate eyes began to get big seeing all her friend outside her house knocking on it.
elizabeth opened her car door.
the group looked back quickly to the slam of a car door, and when they saw elizabeth, frenchy screamed.
"billie elizabeth jean? where the hell were you?" she yelled.
"oh my god liz!"
"i thought you fucking died."
"what the hell?" kenickie asked, you could see the anger in his face but worry in his voice.
"i've been at the hospital." elizabeth stayed blandly.
