"Can I come over to study tonight. I have an astronomy test I have to ace on Monday and you're the only one who can help and I really have to get a good grade if I want to graduate at the top of my class" I ask my boyfriend Corbyn as I leave school and get in his car
Corbyn is one year older than me and already graduated last year. I have a car but Corbyn likes to drive me home from school. I tell him he doesn't have to but for some reason he always is in the same spot after school
Most seniors don't go on the bus but Corbyn said that it's easier to go on the bus in the morning and for him to pick me up after.
I say it's just because he wants to see me
He doesn't go to college because his dads have a lot of money from when they were younger and were in a band
"Of course but my whole family's going to be home"
"So I love your family Zach's the cutest 4 year old ever"

"TAYLOR WE'RE GOING NOW" my mom yells up to me
My parents always leave me alone for months at a time. I know it's for work but it gets annoying and lonely sometimes. I feel like they don't even care.

I run downstairs and hug them
"Have a good trip. When will you guys be home?"
"In six months"
"But graduations in 5"
"I'm really sorry honey but we have to go now" my mom says completely ignoring what I said

"Don't you have a test to study for"

"Then go study"
"Ugh you never listen"
I run upstairs angry as they leave the house
I call Corbyn because he's the only one who can calm me down when I'm upset about them leaving
"Hey miss me already"
"My parents left me again"
"Didn't they just come back last week"
"Yup"
"how long will they be gone"
"6 months. One month after graduation. I can't believe they're going to miss it."
"Oh I'm so sorry that's way too long you can stay with me while they're gone"
"you aren't listening to me. I'm not upset because they aren't here I'm upset because they won't be here when I graduate"
"I'm sorry calm down"
"Don't tell me to calm down okay"
"Hey don't be mad"
"I'm not Its just ugh no one listens to me. It's like I talk and everyone just ignores it"

"Okay okay I'm sorry so are you coming over tonight to study or no"
"Yeah I am I have to see your annoying but extremely attractive face"

It was a weird dream but it makes a good story I guess
