the squad slumped on their own chairs inside their meeting room, chunhua rested her head on the table as meiqi haven't stopped crying still
                          
Mr. Zhang, the mister balance himself, gave these students a private room for their meetings, most of them might not be part of the student council but they are important in completing the Zhang's plans
                          
"what do we do now? he probably acquired maotong's power!" zou ye argued
                          
maotong shrugged, "he touched me earlier though, i really thought it was nothing but i felt electrified"
                          
linong literally facepalmed, "haven't i told you to be careful next to him? look what happened now!" 
                          
"i can tell by now, he knew our next plans and what we are talking right now" chengcheng suggested as he frowned
                          
zhenghao smacked maotong's head without looking up from his phone, "I THOUGHT YOU KNOW EVERYTHING! YOU MORON!"
                          
"look who's dumb enough to locate yankai's clan without any backup" maotong stuck out his tongue which let for zhenghao to drop his phone and tweak maotong's hair
                          
"DO YOU EVEN THINK THAT WAS EASY?"
                          
maotong fought back by tweaking zhenghao's hair as well, "YOU SHORTIE! HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY HAIR!"
                          
quanzhe clenched his fists, "will you please shut up and let's solve this issue peacefully"
                          
zou ye sighed, "we're doomed now! which of you did he acquired powers already?"
                          
linong, maotong, and meiqi raised their hands, "add the twins too", chunhua continued and sighed
                          
zhenghao stopped tweaking maotong's hair and shushed everyone, "he's coming here! be quiet!"
                          
"how did he even knew this place?" chengcheng groaned, feeling unlucky enough to die
                          
"uhm remember my power?" maotong innocently points himself as he starts to breakdown, "urrgh i don't want to live anymore!" 
                          
"that power of yours is dangerous, no wonder why you are from the third generation" chunhua shook her head in disbelief
                          
maotong faked himself looking shocked, "oh i'm really sorry, your highness. you were too perfect to become the chosen one!"
                          
meiqi rolled her eyes, "wow. you became a whole different person just because of a touch"
                          
"oh?" maotong looked around his friends, "really? did i change?"
                          
linong nodded, "you don't know how to fight back and you highly respect the twins. i don't know what happened to you now."
                          
"the touch might have some side effects since he's getting stronger by now" zhenghao suggested as he continued playing
                          
chengcheng snatched his phone, "will you please stop playing for once and focus?"
                          
zhenghao crossed his arms and pouted, "so what do we do now? sleep?" zou ye asked
                          
"how about we whisper to each other or write it on a paper or type the messages in a word document?" meiqi suggested
                          
maotong shook his head, "that won't work, i told you already. i know everything and that means he do as well"
                          
"at this state, we're hopeless already" quanzhe sighed and dropped his head on the table, creating a loud sound but he didn't mind at all
                          
the door of the meeting room swung open, and it exposed an innocent looking yankai
                          
maotong outraged upon seeing him, "YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY POWERS?!"
                          
linong and zhenghao tried to stop him and let him sit back, yankai approached them and bowed
                          
"i'm really sorry, it wasn't my intentions" 
                          
chengcheng snickered, "are you here to betray us again? go ahead. we accept defeat"
                          
yankai tried to look at their faces but everytime he tried, he wanted to cry, "i'm really sorry! as much as possible, i really don't want to acquire your powers but my older brothers will always force me"
                          
zou ye narrowed his eyes, "you look like you're lying. just tell us what you need."
                          
"i'm not lying, i promise! chunhua knew how much i hated my current clan" yankai wiped off his tears that finally went out of his eyes
                          
"so why are you here exactly? are you just here to apologize or do you need something from us?" meiqi asked, not minding yankai's current situations
                          
linong continued, "not just our grades were ruined but also our plans, yankai! you don't know how much trouble you caused!"
                          
linong talked carelessly, they don't care about their identity now. it's already obvious that yankai already knew.
                          
"we've trusted you, yankai. we thought you'll be good enough for this circle" quanzhe stated
                          
"i'm really sorry but i'm actually here to help! i didn't mean what i did earlier! it always happen to me everytime when i acquired new powers, as if the devil in me is swallowing me" 
                          
chunhua dropped her jaw, "where do you think that devil came from?"
                          
"oh that's why i noticed you smirking! i really thought you were that evil to betray us!" zhenghao exclaimed, pointing his index finger to yankai
                          
yankai sits on a vacant chair, "my older brothers gave me weird liquids since i was a child, i think that is where i acquired this devil in me"
                          
"you can control them, right?" zou ye asked, the rest of the squad are excited to hear his answer
                          
yankai shook his head, "i actually don't"
                          
chunhua facepalmed, "what a great problem you have. if that's the case, we will be forced to do the plan"
                          
"what plan?" yankai asked, he's going on with the plan no matter what, he really wanted to get away from his older brothers
                          
"we're going to the palace, only the two of us" chunhua stated, not looking up to them
