I could hear them talking:Dad, Scott, Malia, Stiles and Lydia.
"So literally day one of my internship and up comes this slide of this guy that they've been chasing in the woods of North Carolina,"Stiles said. "Thought you were in South America?,"Malia asked confused. "I was. The bodies of the werewolves I told you about. They blame me,"Dad answered. "So I learned that the FBI has cornered this ferral, massmurdering unsub-,"before Stiles could comtinue Dad cut him off: "I found a group of hunter's meeting place. I was trying to gather information." "Well the FBI found out about it too and they were planning a SWAT assault to take him down dead or alive and as we all know with Derek it's preferably dead,"Stiles stated. "Preferably,"my dad commented. Stiles however continued his story ignoring my dad:"So I convinced them to take me on a field op." "You convinced the FBI to take an intern on an extremely dangerous field operation?,"Lydia asked shocked. "I'm surprised he didn't convince them he could lead it,"Dad replied. "I tried it didn't work,"Stiles then continued with his story:"Anyway. Long story short I basically, you know, had to save his life." Stiles went on to say that he carried my injured dad out but even if I couldn't hear his heartbeat, I would have been able to tell that he was lying. "That's not how it happened,"my dad told him. "Yeah I may have left out a detail but that's the gist of what happened. It was the central essense of it,"Stiles replied. "You couldn't walk,"my dad told him. "I was limping,"Stiles replied. "You couldn't walk and I know that, because I was carrying you,"my dad told everyone. That was more believable. "They shot my toe! You wanna see it?,"Stiles fired back. I could feel my dad shaking his head. "My toe was caught in the crossfire. It was obliterated!,"Stiles defended himself. "Okay forget your toe,"Lydia told him. "Obliterated,"Stiles mumbled out.
"Guys it's not just the hunters. We've got another problem,"Scott added. "It's called the Anuk-ite,"Lydia told them. "It can get into your head and make you see things,"Scott explained. "What does it look like?,"Stiles asked. "It used to look like two ordinary people,"Lydia informed,"but somehow they merged. All we know is that it's made up of two faces. One human. One supernatural." "It's a shapeshifter just like us but it knows what you're afraid of. What you fear most,"Scott added. "And now it can kill you just by looking at you,"Malia stated.
"Okay so you're telling me we gotta go up against this thing blind and face our deepest fear?,"Stiles asked. "Yeah what do you fear most?,"Scott asked Stiles. "Blindness,"Stiles answered. "Becoming blind?,"my dad asked confused. "Yeah terrified of it. Always have been. This just seems like a situation of unfortunate overlap,"Stiles answered.
"Lydia you and Stiles have to find Argent, get to the armory and rescue Jackson,"Scott told them. "I don't think we have to wait for him. I've gotten through those doors once anyway. I can do it again,"Lydia told him and he nodded. "Can we slow it down. Maybe just for one second just so I'm grasping this. So we're actually talking about doing this? We're gonna do exactly what Gerard wants us too, is that right?,"Stiles asked. "I think that if we stop the Anuk-ite, we stop it all,"Scott told them. "Stopping this thing can stop Gerard and the hunters?,"Dad asked Scott. "Not all of them are hunters,"Scott explained. "He's right. Most of them are ordinary people acting out of fear,"Lydia stated. "Monroe's not going to change but I think that we can reach the others,"Scott said,"Most of them actually." "The Anuk-ite is causing them to come from a place of fear,"Lydia said. "Well fear is pretty motivating. Especially when it leads to anger,"Dad replied. "And I think that if we can take out the fear, we can take out the fight in them too. They're afraid of us, they don't have to be. They just have to change their minds,"Scott reasoned. "Well we have to change their minds,"my dad stated. "Okay, we can face the Anuk-ite,"Malia optimistically said, "We can try to fight it blind. We can try to face our fears but we still need to know how to catch it." "We'll figure it out. We always do,"Scott reassured her. "Oh, it is nice to see that somebody hasn't lost their optimism,"Dad stated. "Not yet,"Scott replied. "I have,"Stiles stated. "We will buy you time Scott. Who knows? Maybe Jackson has an answer,"Lydia ignored Stiles' comment. "Maybe Argent will come back with one,"Malia replied. "You two. You're with me. And we need Peter,"Scott ordered,"Anyone who can help stop this thing or slow it down." "Where are we headed?,"Malia asked. "The highschool,"Scott answered. "That's where we're gonna find this thing?,"Dad asked. "No. It'll find us,"Scott replied.
