Once Yugi was off in the Taxi on the way to her house Bella relaxed and sat down at her desk.
"So how'd the two of you meet?" JJ asked almost immediately as she inched closer to Bella wanting answers. There was a suggestive tone in her voice which Bella took as trouble.
"Oh, don't even start." Bella groaned. She saw that coming miles away.
"He comes all this way just to give you a card?" Derek asked looking over the card.
Bella jumped up and snatched it away from him holding it close to her. "Don't touch him. And he came Because my brother asked him to." she snapped quickly and almost possessively. They were surprised to hear a hiss in her voice.
"whoa hey ok no need to jump me," Derek said holding his hands up in surrender. after making sure the card was still in one piece she put it away in a safe place.
"Sorry, its just...this card is...something special," Bella said with a sigh.
"Sorry," Derek apologized quickly not wanting to get on her bad side. She was pretty scary when she wanted to be...except lately she seemed more and more exhausted than anything else...which is why the director had ordered her to take a vacation in the first place.
"It's alright." Bella replied. "So what's the case," she asked changing the subject. JJ handed over a file to her. "Three males the early 30's all of them slashes to the throat several cuts on their arms and stab wounds to their legs." she listed.
"Oh, fun another psycho," Bella commented taking the offered file and opening it up.
*You know you love it!* Christine commented
"Just do me a favor dont puke on me again," Derek said with a teasing tone.
Bella scowled. "Your fault." she shot back at him remembering how dizzy she felt that day. shaking her head they all got to work.
"Alright Bella and JJ. I want you to go interview the victims families." Hotchner says automatically. The team looked up at him surprised.
"Breaking up the dynamic duo...yikes." Emily says watching Bella and Derek who only shrugged.
"Hey. I can do this with out him," Bella says standing up. "I don't need him holding my hand." she says as her and JJ jokingly held each others hands and walked out.
