Chapter 12

                                    

                                          
Beam fed Forth his last spoon of food, then wiped Forth’s lips with wet tissues, before he gave Forth, his water to drink. 
                          
- Hmm...Why do I feel like I’ve become a babysitter instead of being your personal doctor?... Beam huffed softly as he pulled the over-bed table and pushed it over to the nearest wall... Then, he walked back to Forth and sat on the bed facing him... Are you really going to stay mute all the way?... He pouted and sighed as he stared into Forth’s eyes. 
                          
Forth still didn’t say a word... He kept on staring at Beam and watched every moves Beam made in fascination... Beam was getting bored and tired.
                          
- Lend me your phone... I need to call Mr. Wayo... Beam snatched Forth’s handphone from the bedside table and scrolled down Forth’s contacts numbers to search for Wayo’s... Once he found it, he swiftly placed a call to that guy.
                          
- Hello, P’Forth.
                          
- This is not your P’Forth... It’s Dr. Beam... Beam introduced himself to Wayo.
                          
- Owh, Dr. Beam... Why did you call me?
                          
- Just to say that you are a liar... Beam said whilst glancing at Forth who seemed shocked by Beam’s accusation.
                          
- What do you mean, Dr. Beam?... I’m not a liar... I have never lied to anyone.
                          
- But you lied to me... You said he is a gentleman and he will do anything to win my heart, but obviously he’s not... He’s been ignoring me and...
                          
Forth quickly snatched his phone back and talked to Wayo. 
                          
- I’ll talk to you later, Wayo... He hung up the call, tossed the phone on the bed and pulled Beam to sit on his lap with Beam’s legs dangled over Forth’s right muscled thigh.
                          
- Finally you talked... Beam muttered mockingly as he tried to get off from Forth’s lap but that guy had locked his arms around him to hold him still.
                          
- Tell me, Dr. Beam... are you waiting for me to win your heart?... Forth asked whilst letting his chin rested on Beam’s right shoulder.
                          
Beam gulped as he felt Forth’s warm breath brushed onto his neck... He tilted his head away from Forth and ignored all the feelings that began to build up inside him.
                          
- No, not anymore... I just want to go home... Because I’m really tired... I want to sleep... Beam said as he pretended to yawn a few times, so Forth would have pity on him.
                          
- Are you going to drive back home?
                          
- No, I’m going to get a taxi.
                          
- Why don’t you sleep here with me?
                          
- Sleep with you?... I’m not crazy to sleep with a patient... Can you please let me go?... I’m so sleepy and I really need to go back and rest... Beam demanded... He had no strength to push Forth away and hoping that eventually Forth would loosen his arms around him. 
                          
- Dr. Beam, stay with me tonight.
                          
- I don’t want to... I’m stinky... I need to take a bath and get change... I want my bed... Beam replied as he thought of the comfy bed back at his apartment.
                          
- You can take a bath here too... I will ask Ming to buy new clothes for you... And you can sleep on this bed while I sleep on that sofa... Forth suggested so that Beam wouldn’t leave him alone.
                          
- You’re very persuasive, aren’t you?... And why do you want to trouble your cousin?... Have pity on him... He must be tired as well... Just let me go for today... I’ll be back tomorrow to check on your health since today I did none of it at all... I was too busy feeding a huge baby that I totally forgot the reason I’m here in the first place.
                          
- Please don’t leave.
                          
- Why?
                          
- I’m afraid that I will lose you.
                          
Beam sighed and thought of a way to free himself... But nothing came to his mind at all. 
                          
- Mr. Forth, please have mercy on me... Don’t force me to do something that I don’t want to.
                          
- Fine, I’ll let you go but on one condition.
                          
- What is it?
                          
- Let me kiss you.
                          
- On my lips?
                          
Forth nodded a couple of times.
                          
- No way!!
                          
- Just a peck on your lips... Forth bargained.
                          
- Nope... But I’ll let you kiss me on my forehead or my cheek... Take it or leave it because either way I'm still going to leave this room... I know a way that can make me leave this room and quit being your personal doctor... Beam threatened the guy.
                          
- Fine... You win... Forth leaned in and kissed Beam’s cheek before he let Beam off from his laps.
                          
- Good boy... Beam said whilst patting Forth’s head gently... Make sure you sleep and I promise I’ll come back again tomorrow morning... See you... Beam grinned and quickly went out before Forth changed his mind.
