Everything about him was there, he was here. I cupped his face and searched his eyes for any sign of trauma, but he looked lost- confused and in a daze. Jungkook turns to his mother who nods with a gentle smile, he then turns back to me.

"Who are you?"

"Don't do this to me," I narrow my eyes at him in disbelief. "Jungkook..."

He glances down at my hands that fell to my side. "Do I... know you?"

Taehyung grabs my arm and pulls me aside to confront Jungkook himself. "Back so soon?" He asks. "You didn't care to tell me where you went and then you just appear out of nowhere?"

Jungkook averts his attention to Taehyung, eyes still emotionless as he scoffs. "And you care?"

Taehyung looks a bit offended as he bats his eyes. "Jungkook-"

"I ask you to take care of her and you marry her? Sleep with her?" He asks in incredulity.

Instead of explaining himself, Taehyung decides to provoke him. "Whats yours is mine."

Just as Jungkook's about to launch himself at Taehyung, I pull him away without thinking. I grab Taehyung's hand, hoping to console in him about the current situation and assure that I wasn't going to do anything irrational- for our child's sake. I had more to think about than just myself now.

I couldn't be selfish.

Just as I reached the end of the hall I turn around and find myself looking at Jungkook instead of Taehyung.

"Shit," I mutter.

"How are you?" He asks worriedly. This time, he let his facade down and allowed himself to express his emotions.

I'm finally able to breath after all this time. "I'm happy you're safe."

Jungkook pulls me into a hug- reviving me from all parts that I thought died a long time ago. I couldn't express the emotions I felt at this very moment because they overpowered me to the extent where I no longer felt as though I could stand- or exist, even. I was overwhelmed.

"What- what happened to you? Why'd you disappear for so long?" I had so many questions.

"I wanted to make sure I was safe. Then I ran into trouble so I had to lay low until I knew I could come back without harming anyone..."

"Ara, Im sorry-"

"Ara," Taehyung calls out.

He appears with everyone else, Yoongi looking just as confused as the houskeepers who came to see if Jungkook were truly present. Taehyung forcefully yanks me away from Jungkook.

"Ah," I wince, trying to loosen his grip on me. "Taehyung that hurts."

He ignores me and glares right at Jungkook, ready to pounce at any moment.

"Let her go," Jungkook insists. "You've done your part well enough. Now let her go," he says.

"We're married," Taehyung lifts my hand.

"And soon divorced," Jungkook grabs my free hand.

"Boys!" Mother Kim shouts and gets inbetween the both of them. "I'm sorry, but it's not either of your calls to make."

Suddenly, everyone's eyes were on me. Their heated glares and demanding expectancies. This was on me- I had to choose.

And it wasn't even up for question anymore.

Before, I would've given anything to go back to Jungkook and run away from it all. But now, I was withchild and had more responsibilities than I could bear.

I loved both men, but the love of my unborn child outweighed it all.

That's why I believed that choosing Taehyung would've been the right decision- despite my yearning heart.

I place my hand on Taehyung's arm, signaling that I was prepared to follow him as I knew he'd lead me back upstairs.

"Baby, please don't leave me," he gets to his knees and hugs me tight. "I actually can't bear the thought of being without you."

"Taehyung, I'm pre-"

"What the actual hell is going on?" Namjoon storms inside.

Hoseok and Jungwoo follow behind, both just as muddled as Namjoon.

Taehyung gets to his feet.

"Why is my sister's ex-boyfriend that disappeared almost a year ago downstairs?" Namjoon points towards the door.

"You didn't invite him here did you, Ara?" Asks Hoseok.

"What? No! I didn't even know where he was," I confirm. This was too much for me, I swear-

Everything went black.
