Prep rally, woo! Yeah, no. The last time I went to a prep rally, I wanted to die. Not because of me not having friends but because of how loud it was. What did I really expect? Peace and quiet? Ha.

I entered the gym and saw hundreds of kids on the bleachers. Not gonna lie, it was pretty intimidating. They were all sitting there, either with their friends or on their phones probably looking at other people having fun while they were stuck here, miserable. Luckily, I had friends this year to accompany me at this rally. I see my friends waving towards me to come and join them at the top of the bleachers. I walked up the steps and sat next to my newest friend: Chan. Me and Chan met in one of our classes and became closer while working on the song for the dance team.

The schedule for the rally was simple; orchestra would play their strongest songs then band would jump in on their last song. Then half time was when the dance team would perform. Then the grand finale would be band playing their songs for good fun. At least, it's supposed to be fun. I hope it's going to be fun. Right now, the dance team is in the dressing room getting ready for half time while orchestra just started playing their first song. It was soft and smooth, very calm and relaxing. I heard that orchestra gets yelled at for their most simple mistakes. I mean, I understand why. They have to be perfect since they have a streak of wins that are just one after another. If you want to be in the orchestra at my school, then you're gonna have to put your blood, sweat and tears into the program.

The orchestra finished all six of their songs meaning it was half time. Oh yes, stress.

I was stressed because I had no idea how this was going to go. I've obviously heard the song but I haven't seen the dance that goes with it. I guess I was more nervous for them and their dance than stressed that the music me and my friends produced wasn't good. I just care for the dance team. They're new and I want them to give a good first impression for the school. Yeah, that's it.

The lights in the gym dimmed a bit, causing people to become silent. If you looked down to the gym floor, you can see the silhouettes of the dancers. They were all positioned differently on various spots in the gym.

The beat of the song banged loudly against the walls, making it hard to hear your own thoughts. Wow, didn't think they'd play the song that loud. It sounds kind of good, could of been a better though. Oh my god, stop. Just enjoy.

Some of the lights turned on, allowing us to see the dancers move to the beat. They're movements were sharp yet smooth when necessary. Every move was timed perfectly, making the routine even more entertaining. At least to me. Whoever created this choreography did an outstanding job. Everything was perfect.

The music stopped and the crowds cheered. They all moved from their spots that were at the beginning of the routine and bowed towards the bleachers. I smiled softly at a certain someone and clapped before they went back to the dressing room. I looked at Chan, he was smiling with approval at what he just witnessed. He looked at me and said, "That was amazing, right? I didn't think they'd be this good. Most of them are sophomores! Can you believe that?" excitement and shock evident in his voice. I just chuckled at him, "They really are something aren't they?" he nodded and turned back towards the center of the gym and looked down. He sighed, "They're all super good looking too, it's a shame they're younger." I furrowed my eyebrows and replied, "well they aren't all sophomores some of them could be juniors or even seniors!" You see, the thing is Chan is a senior. He doesn't really like dating anyone younger than him so he only dates seniors. I don't see why he can't even date a junior. Oh well, not my problem.

"I know. Oh, maybe we should go to their dressing room and say hi!" I nodded and looked at Jisung, he was on his phone, completely unbothered. Probably texting his boyfriend like always. I then realize that the cute boy will be in the dressing room since he's a part of the dance team. Maybe I can talk to him some more.

Hopefully.
