George's P.O.V

As soon as I opened the door I was greeted by some oddly familiar faces.

Everyone seemed more older, more mature, more grown up.

And I was just only a Second year trapped in a skilled wizards body.

No more mature than a first year

Imagine the pranks!

I mean, possibilities.

Am I even still into pranking now that ive grown up?

Still looking at the mess of faces I chuckled when I saw the one that has changed the most.

"So, Ronnie can wear big boy pants now. I have to say, im shocked. Didn't think he'd ever stop messing himself"

Everyone chuckled.

Was I funny as well?

Funny and friends with the famous Harry Potter.

"Percy, you havent changed" looking up at the clock I furrowed my brow "And isn't it past your bed time?"

Percy groaned. "I see you havent changed either. Apparently you still remember how to be a git"

Although I took the mickey at out of them, I could tell each one of them missed me after each bone crunching hug.

A tug on Ginny's long hair.

A head lock from Bill.

A glare from Percy.

Pat on the back from dad.

Everything was different but felt so familiar.

It felt like home.

"GET AWAY FROM ME FRED!!"

Yeah, definitely home.

All heads swiveled toward the stairs as the screech echoed through the house.

"Watch out for that coat tree" Fred stated looking down toward the floor.

I was curious, ill admit it.

I've never known Fred to spend much time with anyone other than me.

Especially a girl.

But before I could get a better look a hand grabbed Fred's ankle and he was face first on the floor.

Wow, they were good.

Quick and Smart.

Qualities of a prankster.

"Learn how to walk Weasley and maybe you wouldn't have that problem. By the way, how does the ground taste?"

She was sassy and from what I could see of her, fit.

Well fit.

Short and tiny, long brown hair running down to her waist.

Who was she?

"Like I hate you"

Fred's voice brought me back to the present as I watched her help him off the floor.

"Oh Freddie, you don't mean that" She cooed, brushing off some dirt on his sleeve.

and in that same moment, Fred and I made eye contact.

He smirked.

I mirrored it.

Did anything need to be said?

He was my twin.

He'd never change.

We'd never change.

Catching movement in the corner of my eyes. I shifted them to be staring right into the greenest pair Ive ever seen.

She is... I mean, I dont know.. Cute? Do I even talk to girls? Why would I?

She is, pretty. Like, really pretty.

The most gorgeous girl on this planet.

Dear godric, I want to barf after thinking that.

Since when did I like girls?

What happened to me?

Glancing away, I focused my attention on my twin hoping my mind would clear of the brunette.

"George, It's good to see you again" I stated, going and embracing my brother for a few short seconds.

"Fred, always a pleasure" We shook hands and exchanged matching grins.

I wish I could remember our future.

Or I guess It would be past.

Everything we did, together.

All the pranks we pulled.

I need to remember the experience for myself.

I need to remember....

"Oi, where's my hug? I think I deserve it because you may not remember this but im the one who puts up with you two. You know what, on second thought, Id like a cash rembursment for all my pain and suffering along with the hug" The girl spat, smiling up at me.

Why was she smiling at me?

I couldn't actually be close to her?

Could I?

Wrapping her arms around me mine naturally circled her.

Why did this feel so...good?

My heart said what it felt and I cringed knowing what it ment.

"I like this one"

I was honest and a sap.

Fred rolled his eyes.

"We all do. She's kind of our best friend or best pain in the ass. Same thing."

The small girl unwrapped her arms from around me and to be honest, I just wanted their warmth back.

More proof, im an honest sap.

"Blakely Carter but i'll hex you if you call me anything other than Blake" She held her hand out toward me.

I grabbed my head.

My brain felt like it was oozing out of my ears.

"Blakely Carter but i'll hex you if you call me anything other than Blake" said the little 11 year old girl standing in front of me.

"You may be the only girl I know who is cool and still looks like a girl" I stated, positioning us between platforms 9 and 10.

She gave me a curious look.

"What are we going to do? Run through it?"

"Exactly" I grinned, squeezing her hand. "Ready?"

"Born ready"

We ran toward the wall and as we hit, the memory disappeared into the black hazy corners of my brain. Filed away under, 'Things to remember'.

Releasing my head, I gave her a wide eyed look that she returned.

"Alright there mate?" She questioned, chuckling a little at the end.

"You"

I managed to blurt out, pointing at her with enlightenment.

"The only girl I know who is cool and still looks like a girl"  I whispered.

Her mouth dropped, a tear automatically slid down her cheek.

"Oh thank godric, you remember" She jumped into my arms and held on with a deathly grip.

And all I could think was, there has to be something more between us then just this.
