Tobias' POV
I woke up with the wind blowing against my stinging back. I try to stand and realize that i can't. Well i can. But i'm up so high i think i might have a panic attack. Quickly crawling across the wires i make it inside only for the walls starting to close in. Why am i in my fear landscape? The box was now making me hunch over and i'm not breathing properly. None the less the metal box can't go any smaller and I stand up. The girl was still there. The gun was still on the table. I still had to shoot. And i still had to look away. Breathe in, breathe out. She slumps to the floor and I leave the room. The next image scared me more than anything. Marcus walked out with his belt in his hand. But he didn't come and beat me. He walked right passed me and to the back of the room. I didn't want to look but something told me that it was important that i do. I don't even get halfway around when i heard the crack of the belt and Tris' scream. Hearing it was worse than seeing it. She was curled up in the corner covering another body. Natalie. She was saving Natalie from being beaten. I calmly walk up to Marcus and as he is about to bring is belt down again i stop his arm and yank it back. Punching him endlessly until the scene changes. I'm just standing in a room. Nothing is happening. But a window is appearing in front of me. In side there's four chairs. Then i'm handcuffed to something without even having time to react. In the window two baby carriers are placed on two of the chairs. Tris was pushed onto another. Natalie was put next to Tris but had to be handcuffed like me. She was kicking and screaming. Then she saw me and started crying for me. But i couldn't move. I wanted to go and tell her it would be all right, to tell her i was there for her. But i couldn't move, i was handcuffed to a chair. Then a man came into the room, and held a gun to Tris' forehead. She took a heavy breath and started crying. She was trying to be brave for the kids. "NOOO" i tried to reach out to her, but was punched in the jaw. The trigger was pulled. Tris just died again. I thought it was over. But i was extremely mistaken. The man didn't shoot my kids but instead lit a match to each of the chairs. I'm watching my children burn. I turn my head and let the tears roll down my face but a hand held my jaw and forced me to watch. Just breathe Tobias, breathe and it will all be over.
I woke up again on a white hospital bed. On my left was Tris, and on my right was Zeke. Zeke was awake and staring intently at the wall across from him. "It was Peter's idea." he whispered. "What?" i asked. I tried to sit up but the pain in my back prevented me from moving. "The fear landscape. He wanted to test the all mighty four and six or whatever. I tried stopping him, but he just put me through mine." "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring you into this." "It's fine man. You'd do it for me and Shauna." I smiled and looked back at Tris for all of five seconds when a door slammed open. "Speaking of Shauna." It was Matthew. He was holding a screen in his hand that was showing our house. Christina answered the door with Mason in her arms. Shauna was at the door clutching her stomach. Christina ushered her in and put Mason in his swing. "What did you do to her?" Zeke screamed. Jumping out of bed he threw Matthew up against the wall cutting off some of his air. "I believe you did this." Matthew choked. Zeke's eyes went wide and he let Matthew go. "No. She can't have the baby without me." He whispered to himself holding the tablet. "I'll let you go." Matthew said while struggling for breath. "What's the catch." Zeke said not taking his eyes off of the screen. "You tell no one that you were here. Tell them you went looking for Tris and got attacked. Then went to the hospital to fix your foot." Zeke looked at me with sorrowful eyes and gave Matthew the tablet. "I'm sorry." He says as two guards take him out of the room. I mutter a congratulations and watch Matthew examine the clip board at the end of my bed. "What do you want with us. We never did anything to you." i hiss. Matthew scoffs and looks at me over his glasses. "Tris is of use for me. Once i figure out what the serum is made of I will let her go. You, i have no use for. But i am not all evil. I understand you have children. I'll let you go to them. As long as you don't do anything stupid, and try to brake Tris out." I look at him in utter disbelief. "I can get Caleb to talk." i blurt. I don't know why but i have to get Tris out of here. For her sanity and mine.
