Harry's POV

"Why do we even have to have a meeting with management anyway...?" Niall whined as we all five boys sat on the sofa provided. We had been waiting for almost an hour in the conference room for this damn meeting. They told us to be here at nine and it was almost ten. I could have been snuggling with my baby girl for a bit longer. I'm such a goober. Fucking sue me.

Finally someone decided to answer Niall, because he started pouting. "They wanna talk to us about something..." Liam answered. "Paul sounded kind of serious on the phone, so I'm kind of worried..." he trailed off. Niall whined once more. I looked to Louis and Zayn, giving them questioning looks. They both just shrugged at me, as they had no clue either.

Finally the door swung open and Paul, followed by Simon Cowell himself, and some other man in a suit entered the room. They all sat in chairs across the table from the lads and myself. All of us boys sat up in our seats, looking more professional.

I looked to Paul, he looked agitated. He seemed unhappy and somewhat frustrated. I gave him a confused look but he just brushed me off. He was acting strange, and it was making me a bit uneasy.

"Well good morning boys," Simon said in his usual authoritative voice. "Let me introduce you to this man to my left," he stated as he gestured to the man in the suit sitting next to him. "This is Mr. Ross, he is now a part of your lads' management team." I looked the man up and down. He was a rather plump man, with brown hair that had greys peeking out. An uncomfortable grin was placed so slyly on his mouth. Overall, he was not an attractive man. But I could tell that he knew he had power over us five lads.

"Hello boys," Mr. Ross spoke. We all acknowledged his presence with a simple 'hello' all in unison.

"Alright, I do believe that we have some business to attend to," Simon said. Whenever he spoke he showed no emotion whatsoever. That man had the best poker face I'd ever encountered. "We've got good news and bad news. Which would you like to hear first?"

I rubbed the back of my neck like I always do when I'm nervous. I didn't want to hear the bad news, for some reason, I had a gut feeling that it would have to do with a certain brunette girl I know.

"Good news first, please," Liam spoke for us, always being the polite lad he is. Simon nodded and gestured for Paul to tell us.

"You boys get to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics this year," he said in monotone. He didn't look too excited for us. He must know what the bad news is...

I seemed to be the only one who noticed this because at the mention of the news the lads all started jumping up and down like total maniacs. "Really Simon?!" Louis asked in shock. Simon just nodded with a grin on his face. Niall straight up leaned across the table and hugged the man, while Liam tried to calm the rest of them down.

"Lads, calm down," Simon said, his voice becoming impatient with us. "And now the bad news," I looked in front of me to see Paul with his head in his hands, attempting to avoid eye contact. "This mostly will affect Harry, but I figured since you are all a band, you all should be present," Simon said. Now I was really starting to worry. Simon just singled me out, and it's supposed to be bad news. This could not get any worse. Wrong.

"It's about that girlfriend of yours..." Mr. Ross spoke up.

"Excuse me..?" I said my anger rising just at how he referred to Elle. "She is not just my girlfriend,  she is our friend and she does have a name," I spat.

"Hazza, calm down, it's okay. He hasn't even finished yet," Zayn said attempting to calm me down.

"Anyway..." Simon began, "due to a number of reasons, you are no longer allowed to date Elle." Just at those words, my heart sunk. It literally felt like I was punched in the gut with brass knuckles. I was left speechless. As were the boys. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the lads with 'o' shapes on their mouths.
