Lay's POV

Ms. Eun Rae stared at Je Ri intently. Then at me. Then back at her, and so on. Our Guidance Counselor didn't say much when we arrived at the office. It was almost 3rd period now, and we missed Gym. It wasn't long before Ms.Eun Rae dismissed me. She wanted to talk to Je Ri only. I bowed respectfully.

'I'll wait for you outside," I told Je Ri.

She nodded, then looked down at her shoes. I went out. I stood to the side of the door to the office, and this gave me time to think.

I wonder what they were talking about in there.

Je Ri's POV

"Je Ri," Ms. Eun Rae started after Lay had left.

I got nervous. Behind my back, I was wrinkling the gloves, feeling magic spark up.

"Breathe."

I looked up at her. She told me to breathe. And I did. Ms.Eun Rae sat up in her chair, looking deeply into my eyes. I blinked at her.

"You have beautiful eyes, dear," she said.

"And don't worry, your secret is safe with us."

"Us?" I finally spoke up.

"Yes. Me and Ms. Na Rae. We are sisters, in case you didn't know," Ms. Eun Rae said, running a finger across the polished table.

"We are part of this society all across the world, just in case other magic users, teens and/or children are having trouble in school. Most of them just have trouble controling their powers and we are here to usually to clear and patch things up when they might let out a few sparks."

"Oh. Really?" I asked, a bit excited.

"How come...my old schools didn't have any of those?"

"No, they did. That's how I know about you," Ms.Eun Rae said.

"Don't you wonder how you don't ever end up on the newspaper for exploding things? That's the work of us."

I smiled and nodded.

"We too are magic users, the ones that are trained properly to guide the younger ones," she continued, waving a hand in the air.

I watched as a sparkly yellow spiral of magic fly across the office and organized some papers. Ms.Eun Rae smiled back.

"So, you may go now. I'm just here to inform you that we are here all the time if you need help. The problem back at the classroom is all cleared up. We all just let it slide, since you didn't damage anything."

"Thank you!" I said cheerfully and bowed, 90 degrees.

I left, feeling better about the situation.

Kris's POV

I tossed the basketball toward Kai. For some reason, we both were avoiding making shots.

"I wonder where they could be now," I said to Kai.

Kai finally made a shot into the hoop. He laughed.

"This is probably the longest Lay has been away from class," Kai joked.

"He has been having an interest in the fantasy world lately," I said, catching the basketball in my hands.

"Heads up!" Tao yelled across the court.

I ducked as a dogeball flew over my head and hit the wall.
