Chapter 7 (the date)

                                    

                                          
Katie's POV 
We've arrived at the restaurant. The clock was now 2 pm so our table was ready for us. "This way" the waiter said. We followed her to a table near the window and sat down. 
                          
We looked at our menu but I already knew what I wanted. The waiter came back after 20 minutes and asked us what we wanted. "I can take a margarita pizza and a coke, please" I said smiling. She nodded before asking Brad. "What about you young man?" She asked flirty. He looked up at her and then at me smiling. "I can take a pepperoni pizza and just water" Brad said. "Something more?" She asked touching his arm. I started to get angry so I left Brad to use the bathroom. He looked at me confused before talking to the waiter again. 
                          
I got to the bathroom and locked myself in. Why is our waiter flirting with Brad? I know he's good looking but can't she see I'm with him on a date? Is she blind or something? I asked myself. 
                          
Brad's POV 
Did I do something wrong? Is she mad at me? I thought. My thoughts got interrupted when Katie came and sat down. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She looked at me and nodded. I could see that something was wrong, I've known her for years. "Katie, I know something is wrong. Please tell me" I begged her. She looked at me again before looking down at the table. "Do you like the waiter?" She mumbled. I looked at her with a shocked expression. "No, not at all. She is pretty but not like you" I said smiling at her. "Okay" She said smiling. I took her hands in mine and held them until our food came.  
                          
Katie's POV 
Our food came and the waiter looked at Brad with her ocean blue eyes and smiled. "Here you go" she said to Brad while touching his arm. She walked over to me and gave me my food. "Here is your food" she said to me faking a smile because Brad looked at us. "I hope you like the food" she said still touching his arm. "Thank you" Brad said pulling her hand of his arm. She looked at me with death glare before walking away. 
                          
We sat in silence eating our food for a while. "Thank you" I said to him. He looked at me. "Why are you saying thank you?" He asked. "For taking me out on a fancy date and for pulling her hand of you" I said. "You don't need to thank me, and I'm on a date with a beautiful girl and I don't like girls like her" he said with a reassuring smile. I giggled and we started our conversation. 
                          
Connor's POV 
I walked over to me and the boys apartment. After locking me inside I found the boys and Maggie sitting on the couch. "Hey" I said. They all looked over at me. "Hi" they said at the same time. I walked over to them and sat down besides James. "Where is Katie and Brad?" I asked them with a concerned look. "Katie and Brad are at the store" Maggie said fast. "Oh okay" I said. 
                          
I walked to the kitchen to find something to eat before going upstairs to my room. I laid down on my bed and after a while I fell asleep. I could hear the front door and Katie and Brad laughing. "This was the best date ever" I could hear Katie say. "Same" I could hear Brad say back with a smile on his face. What the hell? I thought but I didn't care so much cause I wanted to sleep.
